Wow, I loved this game soo much!
The gameplay is so on spot, it already feels very balanced and engaging, and also there is so much room to put new stuff.
Great job!
Thank you! I'm so happy you had so much fun with it, and congratulations on the high score!
Nice game, very polished effects and animations and a lot of juiceness, congrats!
Thank you!
Great submission! Snake with Balatro is just great! :)) Fantastic music, very addicitve, just great!
I'm glad you had fun playing, thank you!
Great submission! I think the inputs have some issues sometimes but otherwise very fun to try and push your luck!
Thank you! Input issues will be fixed soon :)
My best score: 640
Gameplay: 4
Pretty cool concept, i like the shop system:) Only problem i had was that the controls feel a bit unresponsive
Theme: 4
you do indeed have to escape in time
Aesthetics: 5
Nice art, pixel art was a bit blurry sometimes i think but i'll just put that to being webgl's fault
Sound: 3
It's good, nothing special
Nice original and polished submission, good job:) Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the thorough review! Haha blurry is just because we couldn't figure out how to scale pixel art properly :P
Fun game, got a bit too greedy loosing my data a few times ^^;
Great! That's the type of risk-reward I wanted to encourage. To score high, you have to pick up speed boosts, but then you risk missing a turn and losing it all.
A very unique twist on a classic, I loved it! The risk x reward gameplay is very well done.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I wasn't expecting "snake" to work so well with the "escape" theme, but this twist really does!
Unfortunately, the game does not seem to queue up control inputs, so it is much for frustrating than it should be.
Yeah. Great observation on the input queuing. I actually implemented that just yesterday but didn't make the deadline :(
I did a bunch of bugfixes for my game too... just sitting in the input queue as well.
Awesome game - clicked on it because it looked like a similar theme to my group's game, but completely different execution. Very fun, music and sound were on point and complicated art. Simple, time-tested gameplay concept but the tradeoffs of the upgrades made it feel fresh and exciting. Great scoring system as well - nice job!
Thank you, you had a very interesting take on the theme as well!
I like the economy of the game and how is done, but i feel that the controls lack a bit of responsiveness, but overall a solid game conngrats!
Thank you! I noticed that too. I'll post some improvement on the controls post jam.
Very Good! I like the concept!
Thanks!
