Oh no, sorry to hear that. I just replayed it in the browser and that didn't happen to me so I'm not sure what the issue is, but after that is pretty much just the credits.

I edited the files so that the level select screen includes an option to go directly to the ending. So, if you replay level 5 and get a black screen again, you can refresh your browser and go to the level select screen and choose "End" and it'll take you directly to the last scene and then play the credits.

I would love to see a full game!

I like the premise of this. It was pretty difficult to keep up. I wish the bartenders walked faster because by the time I got over to the customer, they often got angry and left lol

Fun game but man those bots are so greedy haha. They never left any coins for me! :'( I wasn't very skilled at turning so I couldn't manage to overtake anyone and lost in last place haha.

Awesome game. It's aesthetically-pleasing and just all around lovely in terms of design. The leaderboard is a very nice feature too. The premise is interesting and is a vast improvement on Solitaire! Also, I didn't realize the flying thing couldn't jump diagonally so I wasted some cards (and my strategy) on that the first time.

The second time, I tried my best to plan ahead properly but in the end, I ended up having a nice chain of cards on the board, but I just couldn't manage to link the flying thing up with my chain since I wasn't getting the cards I needed, so my game ended with a very full board and a measly 165 points haha...

I might come back later and try to do better.

P.S. The previous commenter mentioned this too but you really do give wonderful feedback. Thanks for your comments on my game too! :) I hope your game gets more plays and ratings because it really deserves it.

I love deckbuilding games. Reminds me of when I used to play Dominion a lot with my friends haha. I agree with the other comments that say more feedback and more of a strategy would be nice. Still, you've managed to get so much done in a short amount of time and make an engaging game so great job!

Loved this game! I don't usually play horror because I'm a wimp but I decided to give it a try since I've just been playing everything that comes up on the "take me to a random game" thing. Atmosphere is great (so spooky!). My only qualm is the light seemed weird since sometimes the light shone behind me instead of in front of me but it didn't deter from the experience that much. I couldn't figure out the attic puzzle though so I'm sad about that because I really wanted to finish the game, but that's probably a me issue haha

I had no clue what was going on haha. Interesting experience

I liked it. Trying to stay alive until the timer ran out and unlocking all the features were satisfying.

Wow this was so difficult for me because I have terrible coordination haha but I did enjoy it. Often I just gave up on trying to get the green arrows right so I could move the car without losing hearts

Like others have said, the controls took some time to get used to (I kept teleporting when I actually wanted to move the same character haha) but after a while I got used to the controls and even managed to finish the game (but I didn't score very well because I often opted to just stay somewhere safe instead of risk getting the coins lol)

I will retreat to my cave of shame now lol

Cute game. It was pretty difficult for me though haha. Also the game froze on my second try when I reached the angry face but when I reloaded it worked properly so I'm not sure what the issue was.

Fun and plays nicely, but I wish it had a bit more variety in the levels. It ended up being the same levels over and over again but with a different time limit.

Ah, this reminds me of the days when I used to play Diner Dash obsessively haha. I liked the game but I had issues with the kitchen door. I thought it was locked or something at first because I couldn't get inside, but after a bit, I realized that I just needed to enter the door a certain way or else I couldn't go through. Would have been nice to make the opening to the kitchen larger or something because of that. I lost a lot of time and wasted food trying to get in there. The other thing is I wished the customers would go to their table faster haha. Chop chop! I have food to make!

Yay I eggscaped! I like the idea that the amount of moves you need to use to get to the door is random. A lot of the time I found myself wishing for a certain dice roll to come up because I figured out how to beat it in, for example, 2 or 5 moves but not the other numbers haha. But it was interesting to try to beat it in the amount of moves I was given. Still, I was always really happy when I got lucky and the dice roll matched with the amount of moves I wanted.

Love the aesthetic and straightforward gameplay. It's really hard but fun.

Cute game but I couldn't make it very far because the controls were hard to get used to. Sometimes I pressed space to jump but nothing happened. Also, it seems like you can't jump and move side to side at the same time so I had to time my movement carefully after jumping which led to many deaths lol

Thanks!

Sorry about that! The thumping was a heartbeat.

Neat puzzle game. I liked how you had to think about which order to get the colors in order to solve it. One thing I was confused about was sometimes I moved just one step forward whereas other times I moved two steps forward. Messed up my gameplay sometimes.

You weren't kidding when you said it's hard haha. Couldn't made it past the first level but it was enjoyable. Very cool game and nice use of the assets

I like the concept but it seems like you can move all the pieces pretty much wherever you want except for where your own pieces are, so I was a bit confused since I thought it followed the standard rules of chess. I was able to just take the other kings from the very beginning--just two moves haha

Extremely fun! I know you didn't have much time but I would have loved to see some sort of brief demo of each minigame before playing so you can get a sense of the controls and what to do. I got the sense of what to do though after playing a lot hahaha. A brief demo before the minigame would also provide a bit of a breather because the game just tosses you from minigame to minigame without much of a break. A pause button would be nice too for that reason.

Lol I made it because of my own anxiety so it was a bit cathartic for me

Yeah, that could help. Sorry about the gameplay!

Is this supposed to be a scary game? I thought it was cute haha. Seems more like a puzzle/escape game than a horror game. Some issues: the text is a bit difficult to read because it's clustered together too much and also at some points (like when you find the P.E. teacher and go to the sink), parts of the text are not readable because of the white on white. Also, not sure if this is intentional or not, but in the room where you can get rubber gloves, there's a black box in the upper right corner of the room that you can walk behind.

Maybe I'm just dense but I have zero clue how to play. I understand the controls but what is the objective? What am I supposed to do? Some guidance in the description would be nice.

Interesting game. It's a bit bothersome to have to keep looking back and forth between the thing at the bottom and the rest of the game, but otherwise I enjoyed it.

That escalated quickly haha. Got a score of 105.

Also, it'd be nice if you wrote a bit of info in the description about how to play because I lost a lot of my gold in the beginning trying to figure out how to move the sword (I was trying to press the arrow keys and WASD keys before I tried moving the mouse).

Funny game. I laughed at the sight of the cat and ducks holding guns. Also when I shot at the duck and all of them started shooting back, that really surprised me hahaha. I couldn't figure out the wall climbing mechanic until I read one of the comments from the game developer in reply to someone else. I knew that I had to press TAB but I didn't realize you could press A/D to move up the wall. I had been trying to jump while pressing TAB. Apart from that, I also didn't know how to change guns. I pressed E on the new gun but nothing happened. Maybe it's because I was still holding a gun? Not sure.

In the rules, it says "You can use any public domain/copyright free music, sfx, and fonts (or make your own)".

Nice puzzle game! I got to level 7 and then gave up lol. Played that level for a while but couldn't figure out how to beat it. I wasn't really focusing on collecting coins or diamonds so my score is 1220.

Cute little game and creative use of the art pack
