Thanks so much for the feedback! I agree, I'm working on a more official demo where I'll do my best to fix a lot of these things :')

Ah thank you so much! I'll do my best T-T

That means a lot to me, thats such a cute idea too! :'')

I appreciate the feedback! I'll definitely iron that out :)

thank you! <3 I'm working on it :')

thanks so much! <3

Oh gosh haha, I'm glad it was running smoothly! I'll check it out, you can always let me know if you run into any more issues :')

Thank you so much!

ahhh thank you! <3

Ah thank you that means so much to me! I have a few other games on my page :')

Thanks so much! :)

Ah I appreciate that so much, thank you for playing! I made sure to add mouse controls in the coming update :)

Thank you for playing!
I'll probably balance that fight a bit more, but it was meant to be sort of a difficulty increase where you have to really use strategy and wait for your cards to grow stronger before attacking. But I see what you mean! I’ll work on it if I ever continue with this. :)

I absolutely love the pixel art and lighting! The combat felt a bit rough and slow to react but i'm sure you can refine it over time. I love this concept though and I look forward to future developments!

I actually ran out of time to add all the music I wanted to haha,  but thanks so much!

I'll be sure to check out your submission too!

what a beautiful unexpected take on the theme.. as a very awkward person I love this very much <:

Thank you sm <3

Thank you so much! I’m glad it was a bit scary ^^

The gameplay was really simple and fun! It felt like I had to be defeated quite a bit to upgrade enough to win, but that might have been the intention.  The art is cute, I love the moths!

I love the color palate and setting! I think this has a lot of potential but I was definitely unsure of what to do at first. I'd love some little wiggly animation on the character as you're flying around. Good start! ^^

This was pretty sick, I love the concept and the art is really unique!

Really cool! I love the graphics and atmosphere :)

I like the movement in the shadows! There's a lot you could do with it. It would be nice if things you could interact with stood out a bit. Good job :)

Thanks so much!

I see what you mean! I'll definitely make the delay shorter on the heal. Thanks for playing :')

Thank you! I was worried the card mechanics wouldn't work out so that means a lot. :)

Cool presentation! I love the aesthetic you got going.  Like others I also got caught when it felt like I shouldn't but i'm sure this is something you can refine later. :)

I like the atmosphere and the art here! I would suggest to fix the controls to maybe copy the button mapping of other similar games, I think using something more standard would help a lot.

Great start though, I hope you keep working on this!

This is so impressive! I can't believe this was made in time for the jam. The art is wonderful, reminds me of animal well :)

This is so peaceful and nice! It's so simple but I can tell a lot of thought went into this. The visuals and music go together perfectly. :')

I found this super interesting! I love the premise and vibe of the game, I had a lot of fun with figuring out what the cards do and got a little attached to homunculus haha :')

Aw thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it! I'll be sure to check out your submission too :)

Oh my gosh "mana" would have been such a better word, thank you! I was also struggling to describe it well enough, it might be the sleep deprivation though..

Thank you for playing! I'll be sure to check out yours as well :)

(1 edit)

Ah let me see if I can still add a fullscreen option..

You die if you discard all of your cards actually haha..

Discarding is essential because you can only see four random cards from your deck at once and if you'd like to select another random card you need to get rid of one.  Once you run out of cards you die.. so it's a bit of a balancing act. (It becomes more important once you learn spells and have a bunch of cards, you might need to discard a few to get the one you want)

At least that was the intention.. :') Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you so much! I was so worried I wouldn't have time to refine the pacing and balancing, but i'm glad :')

Thank you I'm glad you liked it! :)

I really like the visuals and witchy vibe you got going. I think the gameplay needs some work but I can see what your going for. I'd love to see the more complete version with more of your art and the shadow pets!

I think you captured the mood perfectly.. I got  this feeling of dread looking out into the dark woods past the camp as the light dimmed. It would be great to have some ui elements and visual aids when making the potions, because I was a bit confused at first. But overall great start, I hope you continue this! :)

thank you, I appreciate that so much!

Ah yes I could see why it feels cramped, there also might be a bug.. thank you for bringing this to my attention i'll work on it!

(also there are some candles you can't reach, only a few specific candles need to be lit to solve the puzzle)

Thank you! That's some much needed feedback.. I agree it's a bit rough I definitely need to rework a lot of these areas.

oh my gosh thank you <3
