- The game is very pretty to look at. The difficulty is way to easy on level 1 then way to hard on level 2. The scalling would need a good look over so few upgrades would get you on your way, ended up just letting the game run to get ingredients. Having them drop from the enemies would encourage the fight to keep going. The music was nice, and the animations were super adorable. Good bones for the frame and with a little more more this'll go far!

Star-crossed is a game about the battle between shadow and light. Play as the shadow, use alchemy to upgrade units, your summoning circle, and magic powers.
You defend your base and destroy the enemy base to progress to the next level. There are an infinite number of levels.
You aren't intended to be able to beat the first level on your first try. You can upgrade your units to have a better shot next time.

Your game has a real nice artstyle and a simple but fun combat system. You guys should be proud!
This is a fun game. I really dig the art style and animation. The crafting mechanic makes me want to replay it and try creating different upgrades. I could totally see something like this being expanded with more creatures and maybe levels where the summoning circles are further apart, or maybe there are multiple enemy summoning circles. Anyhow, overall this is a cool game, well done!
The gameplay was really simple and fun! It felt like I had to be defeated quite a bit to upgrade enough to win, but that might have been the intention. The art is cute, I love the moths!
A fellow "sleepy" dev! What a cute game with beautiful art and animations. It felt pretty hard for me at first, but I see that's intentional. Really lovely entry, great job.
Thanks for playing fellow Sleepy dev :D
Means a lot to hear you like the art considering your game is gorgeous <3
fun little game, got the speed buff to 50% and it was just silly, definitely one of those games that starts unbalanced in a very different direction than it ends, but I enjoyed seeing if i could break it with a billion larvae.
Looks nice! could use balancing but its got bones :)

Thanks Sprixle, we appreciate that! Thanks for playing our game! <3
I like your art and the music. The game was very hard though and it felt impossible to create the butterflies because you had to spam-click the larvae to not die, we made it to level 7 before it started to feel impossible. Good art, well done! :)
Thanks for playing and the feedback Fluffow! We really appreciate it <3
Honestly a fun little game.
Pros:-
I like the replayability due to having levels
The music is great
The Graphics are dark but cute
Cons:-
You can win the game by just leveling up your speed thing. Eventually you can spawn your guys quicker than the bar can deplete. Even if the other guys can kill yours, you have so many attacking it it just cannot get around the problem.
If you spam click the battle and keep doing it during the fight, when the fight finishes, it gives you 2 battle buttons and the title comes up and no lab is available xD
If the Moth had a chance of coming out first, it would forse me to use the moths too, I never used a single one during my playthrough :(
The negatives are tiny things though, just things that will make players think about what they want to do tactically :D Nice little gem you have here, hope it gets further development! <3
Thanks for the feedback funkycruchy!
Totally agree on the feedback. The mathematical balancing and progression for sure need some work. Right now the moth and caterpillar are on separate spawn timers and in the future I think we should switch it to randomize what is spawned.
Thanks for playing!
