  • The art style is really nice and impeccable with whimsical witchy vibes that add a lot to your interpretation of both alchemy and shadows! However, the gameplay did become a bit confusing with the slot machine mechanic, sadly making the game stuck for me on both Chrome and Firefox respectively, no matter how much I tried to press inputs or pick elements to continue over to the element circle. Would love to see the other menu elements done since the cards look super gorgeous, and some audio as well, but it is understandable it is quite an undertaking for a short period of time.

Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?

Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?
Yes!

Yes

Tell us about your game!
I used some mechanics I loved from flash games as inspiration for this game. it has 3 stages, the controls are the following:
menu: arrows and spacebar
first stage: W/D
second stage: spacebar
third stage: WADZX+S

Extra Notes
this was so much fun and I loved the discord community, I did rush tho with a full time job so the game is very unfinished but hopefully you can have 2 mins of fun!

Nice artwork!

Lovely colors and art, you had a strong vision, it's so witchy and mystical!

pretty cute design and gameplay! But I didn't find a reset button, so I had to reload the page every time, before I even understood what I had to do. Adding a reset button and also button instructions in the game itself would be a good addition :)
Also wanted to ask, what was planned about the other three tarot cards?

I really like the visuals and witchy vibe you got going. I think the gameplay needs some work but I can see what your going for. I'd love to see the more complete version with more of your art and the shadow pets!

Thank you!!

Your game looks absolutely amazing, I want to try it after work 💗

The style is pretty nice, love the tarrot card menu.

Main advice for your next jam would be to choose one game mechanic and make it well.
I feel like you might have over-scoped a bit by trying to make 3 games into 1, which resulted in all three of them feeling/being incomplete.

Love the vibe you are going for, and the throwback to what "old" flash games used to be like :)

Good job

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! 💗

I agree, I overscoped a lot considering the time I had. At first I planned to make only the first mini game but then I felt that it could be a bit boring so I wanted more.. but I should have managed the planning with the actual time I would have

The visuals are cute and I like the mechanics. If you build more on this, it would be great to see what shadow is created from the alchemy circle before looping back into the other gameplay.

Thank you! In my vision, each ticket combo would generate a specific pet, and wrong orders would make angry customers and either a deformed pet or just something not alive at all 🤣 I appreciate the feedback!
