Thank you so much for such extensive feedback, especially with the technical advice on the itch.io game window! It was definitely too ambitious, but we learned something new, and for me it is the main charm of jams :)

Thanks for playing!

Hi all! Due to difficulties with itch.io, we are forced to upload the full game! to a separate page

https://malmorsus.itch.io/card-whisperer-patched

We would be very grateful if you played this particular version, as we tried very hard and are happy with the result in this particular build!

Have fun playing and thank you!

P.S. There is also a desktop build

I agree about the enemies, I thought that it was worth slowing down their turn speed a little, then you could dodge them like a train following you in a straight line) Thanks for the feedback!

I hope the game helped improve your fast typing skills a bit :) Thank you for playing!

Thanks! Perhaps the problem is related to clicking outside the game window? I myself sometimes did this, so I recommend playing in full window :)

I'm very glad you liked it! I hope I didn't overwhelm you with multitasking ;)

I wish I figured out the concept early in order to maximize the J U I C E :) I'm glad you liked the concept anyway and thanks for the feedback!

It's very nice to hear that you liked it) Yeah, I even want to play it myself with the addition of new words for experimentation and fun :D

Thanks for playing! Yes, I regret that I did not have time to make the difficulty levels, it would obviously help more people get used to it)

A very colorful game, music nicely complements the style. The need to shoot in both directions at some moments adds to the challenge and makes the gameplay more interesting. Вышло круто ;)

It is very nice to see both the tutorial and the choice of the level. The game feels nice and sometimes quite chill, until the active phase kicks in :)  Great job!

I was so focused on the game that just looking at the gifs I realized how great the game looks! The effects are very juicy and the skin growing animation amazed me. The need to switch between the three lines clearly added novelty and challenge to the game)

I am very glad that you liked it! It's great to hear this kind of feedback on all key mechanics. I'm sorry that you didn't get to the victory window, it appears after the last enemy is killed, and 60 seconds indicate when new opponents stop appearing. I agree that the endless use of fire is really the most effective way of passing, I would love to tinker with the fine-tuning of the abilities, since working on adding new words and trying to print them out of the crowd of opponents is the most fun thing :)

I'm also glad that the need for quick typing and participation of the entire keyboard area brought you an interesting experience, although I was afraid that this would rather narrow the threshold for entering the game.

Thanks again for playing!

Very nice art and animations! The music is also nice, but it got in the way of hitting the beat a little, and when it ended I was able to hit the combo well enough to practically resurrect this zombie :D I would play a full game with this style and a lot of RHYTHM))

I liked how the character pleasantly bounces off the wall, accelerating on his attack, it would be interesting to develop this as a mechanic) The game feels smooth, great work!

neat     juicy     colorful     musically

So simple but so addictive! Perfect fit for the jam theme)

So far the best game I've played on jam! I never thought that adding a timer and the possibility to lose in a clicker makes it so interesting. Definitely 5 out of 5 in all categories)

Thanks, glad you liked it!

Thanks for your feedback! I tried to achieve experience with crowds of opponents, so that victory over a large group would feel better, but I knew that I would go too far with it)) The health system would be helpful, thanks.

Very nice color palette and effects! I really love the reload mechanics from Gears of War and you did a good job of conveying the pleasure of hitting the timing. It's also nice to be able to quickly respawn and keep playing. Great job!

The game looks very polished! The finger is tired of constantly pressing the shot button, but it's not for nothing that the jam theme is DON'T STOP ;) But thanks to checkpoints, you can relax and enjoy the wonderful art and animations. Overall a pleasant experience and I ended up with the results:

The idea of getting buffs and debuffs is not bad, it would be interesting to add more mechanics there that affect the main condition "Shooting while moving".

At one of the levels, I caught a softlock, because the door to the room with enemies locked me in the previous room. But otherwise, congratulations on the finished game!

Thank you for trying it!

Great visual style + very nice action and text animations. The game looks very cute)

Controls in the game feels great! Step-back - really cool idea. Interesting game)

Great implementation of mechanics! Feels like a cover based shooter in 2d :D I really enjoyed the game)

The game feels and looks like a final product! Really fun game)

This game feels awesome! Music, art and gameplay all work perfectly together. Really like this game)

Nice game and great implementation! It’s very cool that you made the game yourself)

Thanks for the feedback and for playing! Yeah, I found a small bug with a collision :)

Thanks for the feedback and for playing! Yes, combo, this is my mistake) Game only resets the multiplier. You could say I made game more friendlier :D
