The game is pretty simplistic, a 1v1 against a friend. The controls were pretty easy to learn and nice to use. Well done on the game ^^

Very fitting and simple game, espeacially since you chose Morhau as your base mechanic! My partner and I really enjoyed playing this, once we got around the controls.
This could be a great couch co-op, or online multiplayer game if you expanded it more.
Controls felt right, and the music was lovely to listen to.

I do want to expand the game in the future. Solo adventure will the next goal. Of course online multiplayer is great, but I need more time to learn multiplayer coding. So adventure first.
oh yeah, multiplayer is no easy feat. Take your time, no need to rush it :)
The artwork is simple but really nice, it gives a nice atmosphere. The mechanic is simple but can be complex when dueling with another player. Keep up the good work!

I like the gameplay but I feel like it would have been much more interesting with less health so you can feel much more in battle tension!

Yeah, I halved the damage just before publishing because of no reason. It was much compact originally.

The combat system is really well done and if I had a buddy to play with right now I'm sure we would have a blast! I don't though, and I wish that solo gameplay was an option. Also, the background music does not match the gameplay at all. Combat is bloody swordplay and music was cutesy bunny pets. Everything else was really well done though! I love the blocking ability and getting the timing down for that was really fun! Nice job!
Thanks for playing and leaving me great advice. I was trying to make a BGM like the song of Yasou playing flute in LOL. But, obviously I couldn't make it well as I thought. I'm considering making the fight with AI after the jam. It depends on the jam result ; )

Really cool combat system with quite a lot of depth to it! Enjoyed playing it for a few rounds ^^ Thank you for adding an option to mute the music too, it can get tiresome after a while!

Well done, really like the gameplay it allows for quite the skillfull gameplay, sadly I didn't have someone to play it with, but the mechanics are really solid and feel great while using it, also took me a bit to grasp how the cancel attack mechanics works :)
I also noticed a small bug when you kill the enemy then his bloodstream doesn't stop when the next round starts :)
Overall great entry, really love the simplistic art style of the characters which helps to focus on the relevant things while fighting :)
Thanks for the comments! I might add AI enemies in the game after the jam so that we, solo player, can still enjoy the spirit of Bushi.
And that wasn't a bug, I wanted to keep the player looking injured. But the presentation doesn't really work out well.
