This is super polished for a 10 day game jam, well done! Music was jamming, the enemies looked really nice.

The boss patterns were very well designed and were a lot of fun to play, even if the second boss kept handing my ass to me.

I do wish the ship’s hitbox indicator had a constrasting colour to it. For me, it was impossible to see when not looking directly at the ship.

Needed a background for a space shoot ‘em up. You’re a legend for making your assets free to use!

Pretty nice retro style game! Simple yet engaging bullet patterns.

Since all the enemies have the same sprite, it’s very difficult to differentiate ones that take a single hit to kill and others that require more shots. But other than that I had fun while playing!

Really nice shooting game with a very distinctive art style. Managed to do a run with 6% patient condition and had a lot of fun with how hectic things get!

Incredible game. It’s very well designed and looks awesome. The mouse controls took a bit of getting used to, but once I did I had a blast!

Pretty nice! Its cool to see that you implemented a working leaderboard during the jam

The artstyle is very cute and I loved the main character’s silly chuuni dialogue. Also some interesting boss patterns.

The parry mechanic was a lot more fun than I expected, especially how it powers up your shot. I love SHMUPS with mechanics that let you get aggressive.

However, I’m not sure how I feel about the stamina mechanic for focused slowdown. Exhausting the slowdown and having to wait felt very punishing. I ended up not using slowdown past Victoria and trying to memorise where my character’s hitbox is.

Other than that, I had a lot of fun playing! Bonnie is cute! Very well done entry!

Lovely unique idea executed very well. I loved the idea of going deeper in a level to dodge harder and harder bullet patterns.

Would love a few invincibility frames after you switch between levels; sometimes, especially in stage 3, you would immediately hit a bullet or a board after switching.

One nitpick I do have though is that the bullet’s hitboxes seem quite large (I am used to more traditional SHMUPS with tiny hitboxes) which made a few patterns near impossible to dodge for me.

A solid entry overall, I had a lot of fun!

Excellent! The animations are very fluid and dynamic and I really like how the music picks up after the first few upgrades.

Fantastic SHMUP with really nice and cute visuals! I like the unique take on the rank system other SHMUPS have, where you actively choose to increase it rather than it just increasing as you kill enemies.

Cool game, I like the visuals!

I have noticed that there is a bit of input lag when moving but I’m not sure if its just me.

I really liked the western theme, and the metroidvania aspect was really well done, I liked exploring the map.

The movement was a bit floaty for me, but I still enjoyed my time with the game!

Thank you for playing!

The spiders fall at specific points; their legs can be spotted on the ceiling where they fall, though it looks like I made them a bit too hidden!

Glad you enjoyed the game!

Thank you for the video review!

Thanks for playing! Glad you liked it.

Fun and silly game! The NES aesthetic was well done and consistent and I loved the characters and enemies.

One issue I did have was that the background of the barn blended with the platform colours, making it difficult to differentiate between the two in the beginning.

But other than that, I enjoyed it!

Thank you for playing! Yeah it seems like the regular enemy design and the fact the attacks aren’t telegraphed is a thing that other comments pointed out, so I’ll have to focus some more time on the enemies in future entries.

I was also planning on adding more environment decoration to the areas of the game and planning to make the second half of the game look different to the first half, but I ran out of time lol.

Glad you enjoyed it though!

Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you for playing!

I love the character, she’s really cute.

Gameplay is a bit basic and floaty, but I see you’re going to update this game for SMVM. I look forward to seeing how the game develops!

Top stuff! I love 1-bit aesthetic games so this caught my eye.

I loved the movement, it was solid and fast which made going around the different rooms really enjoyable.

One thing I have noticed is that the double jump doesn’t work if you fall off an edge rather than jump off a surface. Not sure if that’s a bug or if it’s intended.

Great entry! I liked the top-down combat, though there is an issue with blocking where the player character doesn’t block if you hold right click during the attack animation.

Glad you liked it!

Thank you for playing! I’m glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate the feedback on the enemies, it really helps with letting me know how they play.

I really like this twist on noughts and crosses. The AI was challenging, but fun to play against!

Would love a "speed up" button for the enemies, but otherwise, interesting game!

Really interesting mechanic, the game was great fun!

Interesting game! I liked the puzzles!

I really like this take on strategy games! The attack animations are also great!
