This was actually super fun to play, loved that ending haha!
The only complaint i'd have is that the icons weren't the most intuitive but after buying them you can tell what they do. But that's just nit-picking atp, game is flawless!

I find it quite impressive that you didn't use an engine btw

Fits the theme very well, visuals are interesting, pretty damn good for 3 hours! Controls are a little clunky at first but you get used to it.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the atmosphere! Unfortunately in my rush I missed some edge cases so that's why the game is basically unplayable 😭

I'll definitely fix those soon.

Glad to hear! I'll fix the bugs soon.

I missed an edge case there, I'll fix it soon!

Absolutely adorable game!
I'll admit I had to check the comments since I got stuck at one point but it was an amazing game nonetheless!

Thank you for your suggestions! I'll definitely try to implement them in the future!

Thank you!

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah I've noticed that kept happening and I thought I fixed it but it seems like I didn't haha

Thanks for the feedback!

The story is quite interesting! Really loved the art as well!

Some complaints though (won't repeat what others said as they expressed them quite well):

-sound design could use some work (some sfx when crafting, putting items in the box)

Keep up the good work!

Controls are a little finicky, or as someone else put it "harsh".

Could've used some more sounds, like background music/ambiance.

Didn't know you could make such a game in gamemaker haha, maybe that contributed to the finicky controls.

Overall, not bad!

Really fun game and interesting idea!

I've noticed that at some point the money you have has a floating point value (ex: 46.00083 dollars) which was weird, didn't hinder the gameplay experience at all, it was just weird to see since the prices didn't have floating point values (at leas i don't remember them having that)

Lacked in the visuals department but it was really fun to play, which is what matters the most in a game isn't it

Really loved the message at the end when you complete the game! Really encouraging!

Interesting idea! Unfortunately I do have some complaints:

-the game was quite confusing, i haven't managed to beat it :( (i might've just not given it enough time)

-collisions were weird ass all hell ngl, it was really hard to move the boxes around

-you can push the boxes outside of the clock

I really liked the player animations and design! Not bad for a first game jam game!

Interesting idea, would've been nice if you had more purpose than just "dive as deep as possible", maybe collecting treasures or something. Maybe even being able to upgrade your submarine over time (although that wouldn't have been that easy to implement in the short time we had but just an idea), to be honest i don't really know, but something was missing.

I think what most people had a problem with was how slow the submarine was moving.

Really liked the art though! Keep up the good work!

The gameplay is quite interesting, made for quite a fun game!

One complaint tho, maybe increasing the pressure would've been better bound to a keyboard button, like space or something, it gets quite tedious to pump it with the mouse.

Other than that, pretty solid for your first game! Keep it up!

Had loads of fun with this game!

Music got kind old tho ngl :( some sound effects for building or hitting obstacles would've been nice

Don't know if it's just me but maybe a shield of some sort, maybe it would last like 3 hits or something, sometimes it was near impossible to avoid obstacles so something of the sort would've been a nice touch but overall really solid game! Good job

Fun game! Really enjoyed it!

The music really intensified the stress and made up for the graphics.

Some things that bothered me though:

-fixing the front glass is pretty much impossible on the first try, idk if that was the point or not but it was quite frustrating

-the more you play, the higher the menu becomes (mainly noticed this for fixing the front glass) so at one point you cannot see what you're doing, ultimately making it impossible to fix it

Solid game other than that!

Actually really fun game, had fun playing through the levels. It wasn't very difficult but that's better than having a game that's way too hard!

I really appreciate the fact that the game had a pause menu, not many have that :)

Great Job!

very fun game, really enjoyed it, nice art style, although it's a little difficult

Thank you! I would've wanted to add more levels but I unfortunately ran out of time.

Glad you enjoyed it! The "see how many days you can survive" is actually quite a good idea!

Thank you for playing!

Odd choice of controls but super fun game

Really nice, although i think we all know it's basically Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes ;)

I'm surprised you managed to do all this in the 3 days we had, good job!

really good, pretty damn hard tho as well

overall really cool game after you figure out what to do

also i've noticed that if you hit retry the arrow showing you the target doesn't appear at all and you have to refresh the page :/

overall really good, i think im just too stupid to play it properly :))

(1 edit)

Really cool game and actually quite fun!

Took me a bit to realize how the game worked tho lol

some music would've been nice as well, but other than that, really solid

unique game!

interesting UI, ngl i closed the game 3 times before i figured out i had to wait for the main menu to pop up but i liked that, very unique

Really interesting game, would love to see a full version of it one day

loved the way you approached the theme, and those visuals are bombastic

very interesting approach to the theme, loved that
