The gameplay is very fun and creative! Love it very much!
It gives me a "BABA is you" vibe but in 3D, changing the rule to get over the obstacles and reach your goal, but with more complex environments and more back and forth!
Just the "code" text in the box can be hard to read, especially with the "no shadow" text mixed in.
Not sure if it's just me or not here is my Fullscreen experience, I don't think it should be like this.
I've never played Baba is you but it is nice that you enjoyed the game :) though the fullscreen bug might be caused by unreal and I don't know how to fix it but the game can be played without the problem in the Windows build of the game.
I played some unreal games before on the website, it have no similar problem.
So I don't think it's caused by unreal.
The game was fun! I liked the idea! It reminds me of Sam Hogan's game with intentional bugs.
I've seen his video though my main inspiration was a game made by Robert Thomson in this video:Making a game where you get sucked into your own (bad) code . Glad you liked my game :)
I've seen that too!
Nice game, I enjoyed it.
Glad you liked it :)
Great work, little tips for the future tho:
-A indicator what the middle of the screen is: Custom crosshair/cursor would help tremendously.
-Felt a bit confusing of what went where with all the greens and red and text and the fact you could break levels by jumping on the cubes, or stacking them. (Thought it was a feature at first.) In the end got lazy and just dragged all the cubes over the input locations to figure out wich one went where.
-Like the concept of programming text, however in game its just a nuisance to actually read, think it would have been better if you just made it plain text.
Thanks for the feedback and if I do continue the game I will include your recommendations :)
Cool idea, I'd like to see this developed into a full game
Probably not going to make it a full game though because it was made in an old version of Unreal but if I win 1st or 2nd I might continue and make a full release. But glad you liked it :)
The concept of the game is really good! I love how the red blocks can help you get the green ones, great job!
Thanks for the feedback :)
The unbuild shadows thing is a little annoying but otherwise I like the changing of the games rules
Thanks for the feedback :)
I really like the concept and problem-solving involved and would definitely play a longer version of this game. It would be nice if there was a way of knowing when you were close enough to pick up a cube, but that might just be me.
Thanks for the feeback :)
I really like the concept! The style for the game is really nice, with the code blocks. they are rather hard to read at some points, so maybe increase the texture quality. Not at all complex with a well put together game loop that really easy to understand. Not sure that the chiptune sound-effects fit right, yet still, well made. Good job!
They are quite difficult to read in fact but my lazy self is going to blame it on the under pressure theme haha. Glad you liked it :)
I'm so bad at this game. I feel like a toddler will laugh at me if they see me try to put the block in right spot. Nice game.
No worry about being bad the game isn't well polished and need some balancing but glad you liked it :)
Really interesting game, would love to see a full version of it one day
I don't think I'm going to continue creating the game as it was made on an old version of Unreal to be able to make an HTML5 build but I'm glad you liked the game :)
"under pressure" is made with timer and honestly it's not really creative on that side. BUT! I really enjoyed the gameplay! at first it was rather hard, but when I got it - I really liked it! thank you for the game!
I will admit that the timer was not creative and was intended to be added with some sort of developper chief who gave you other problems as well as the timer for more ''Crunch'' pressure but didn't have time for it. but glad you enjoyed the game :)
Really cool concept! Had a lot of fun playing it. It just took me a while to figure out what was written in the cubes was relevant and not just random code.
Thanks for the feedback :)
