Thank you so much! Love neon white

If you ever try it again, there's a mouse sensitivity setting in the pause menu. Browsers have crazy mouse settings.

Really appreciate the kind words. Thanks for trying the game

Great puzzles and polish!

Movement needs some work, but the levels were thoughtfully put together and the gun is fun to use

Theme connection seems a bit loose, but I did like the game a lot. Fun upgrading the units and choosing between the upgrades/modifiers

Nesting doll game is a cool idea

Thank you for trying the game and the kind words!

Really cute! The platforming bits were a little clunky, but it didn't detract from the potion brewing at all. Was pretty surprised how many different ways you could prepare the ingredients as well.

The bouncy mechanics and dash were really satisfying. Also great sound design

Loved the music and the vibes. It got a little difficult to micro the resources as the came available, but I did like the intensity scaling up

The portals + the blocks was a really cool combo. Loved thinking through how to not only get my player into spaces but the blocks as well

Art and story were really cool

I wish the penguins were a bit faster and didnt collide with one another when walking, but the game was super fun and cute. Also super original mechanic. The controls are really intuitive once you get going

Incredibly cute art!

A little difficulty, but love the style and movement mechanics. Also the goober art is amazing

Incredibly creative! Cool concept

Love this idea! The scaling strategy is really unique and pretty fun. Generates some funny moments with comically large swords and such

Like the vibe and good use of the theme

Cool concept with the elephant/fly mechanic. Last level was pretty funny too

Challenging, but rewarding. Love the animations and interactions with the big guy.

Love the dev message at the end, lol'd

Awesome, humorous little game. Great work!

That pop sound is super nice. Sound in general is really cute

Really cool building upwards with tetris blocks. It feels kinda frantic with the music, but also pretty chill like a puzzle+idle game.

Pretty challenging puzzles, but love the vibe and the main mechanic! Awesome

Super cute! Love the animations and chunky pixel aesthetic.

Frog is cool. Clicking feels pretty responsive. Shop is fully featured. Only feedback would be the progression is a bit steep for a jam game personally (expensive upgrades) but great job overall. Had fun with this one!

Likely a sensitivity thing! Browsers can have varying degrees of mouse sensitivity. There's a setting in the pause menu for mouse sensitivity that should help!

Thanks for the kind words and trying the game :)

Bummer about the third level, but it was really fun regardless. Lots of A ha! moments for me

That was really relaxing actually. Loved the atmosphere you set up.

Thanks! I've always wanted to try 2D horror so this was a fun experiment for sure.

On my way to check out pigments now.

Thanks so much for the review!  I'm glad you liked the horror vibe.

Yea the lever speed was fine for my mouse sensitivity, but play testing since then from others makes me think it should be a lot faster and on spacebar or something instead of the mouse.

I'll be sure to check out Worm Warp as well.

I love the style and idea. I felt a bit too slow or something maybe, but it was an interesting experience.

The jump was a little floaty, but the platforming and shape changing was very fun. Great pace as well.

Cool idea. There's some polish to be done on the physics, but it was fun.

Ditto on what people are saying about the frustration, but a fun concept.

Hey!

Thanks for giving Tiny Tanks a play, and I'm glad you had fun with it!

Did you play the downloadable version or the web version? The reason I ask is I've since updated the web build to address a lot of the feedback I've gotten here. I'm still working a little bit on the text and sound, but I've removed most of the text.

If you have the time I'd really love to hear what you would want improved! Thanks again for playing, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. :)

Thanks for taking the time to try my submission. :)

It's really unfortunate I didn't have more time (submitted 1m before the deadline) to improve the UI elements because I took a lot of care to keep the theme in mind while developing the game. It's just difficult to see how the games systems are tied together because the UI doesn't emphasize it very well.

Again, thanks for the feedback and I'm glad people in general seem to think the gameplay is fun!

Unfortunately, the jam version of this build has a bug that your score doesn't get reset correctly unless you refresh the page on death.  This means every time you die your score is either 0 or less than 0 which makes it very difficult to get a higher score since the regular starting amount is 100 points.

Thank you for trying the game! I hope you get a chance to try the finished build after the jam is over. :)

Really nailed the atmosphere and the theme.  I do agree that it needs some variety in the combat, but it's fun to explore and the dash is really well implemented.

The mechanic is fun to use, but can feel a little awkward to control.  I would love a button that flipped me 180 degrees to block.

Has a great game feel and the time mechanic is pretty satisfying to use.
