Nice job on this game! Really taught me a lot about bugs. There was a lot of polish, the sounds felt good, and the blocks snapped into place, really added to the computer vibes.

You had a lot going on here with the stats, items and mechanics! Could have used a little more for me as a player to do, in my opinion. I couldn't get too far, but maybe a system where you gain gold from each enemy and can spend it on permanent upgrades for your gladiator would make this a lotta fun!

My favorite thing about this game is how versatile this mechanic is. I realized that with the power to create a square anywhere, all the levels have an infinite number of solutions, sometimes I could even find solutions that were quicker than what you had intended. With some more diverse levels with unclear paths to the end, I could see this being a really fun game for speed runners! A timer and high score board would make this super fun! :)
Really cool story and concept! I could see this idea being expanded to potentially even include killing a human and stealing their body? Would make for some interesting and tragic storylines! The levels currently weren't particularly interesting, felt like a lot of it was left to luck of who deals the finishing blow. There's definitely something here though, and I'd be excited to see where you take it after the jam!
This game is super polished!!! At first I was enjoying it as a standard prepare-a-meal kinda game, but then the monsters started coming in and I had to start making some ethical decisions. That tied the game into the theme really well! I am now a murderer apparently.

I'm a big fan of pixel art, magic, and upgrades... and this game perfectly scratched that itch! I really enjoyed exploring the different skills I could get when leveling up, and fighting the various creatures. One suggestion I'd have is, maybe make it so the enemies can't spawn on screen? About half of the damage I took was from enemies spawning on top of me, but that's okay as it still wasn't enough to kill me! Overall, beautiful art, fun gameplay, and a great submission!
Starting off was a little tricky, took me awhile to figure out how to find prisoners. But once I caught on, it really put me in the shoes of a prison guard, having to make these kinds of ethical decisions. Maybe having a compass type thing that briefly points to the direction the prisoners are in would be easier to understand. All in all, great job on the game! :)

Really cool idea! Using the bodies and shaping them into what ya need is pretty innovative, also the sound effect for placing down a body made it feel enjoyable too. Only thing is the puzzles were a bit repetitive, having to go all the way back to get a new body. Maybe wouldn't be so bad though if I could just pick up a body with "E" or something... I used a mouse pad and having to click was not enjoyable. Overall, great job!

This was a unique idea! I enjoyed the platforming and cool split world levels, it was fun to get to understand the concept and then was cool seeing you mess around with the idea in the later levels. I also liked how it sounds when you repeatedly bash against the spikes in that level with the spikes walls haha. Good job!
