It's the first game I've played this jam and I think we have a winner already. I'm surprised at how much effort was put into this! Good job!

Whatever black magic you used to make four separate genres in a week, I'd like to have some of it.

Genuinely the most impressive game I've played yet!

Thank you for the nice comment!

Yeah it is very hard to get rid of a game idea, or even considering doing it if you know you don't have as many days left. I am planning on making a devlog about our experiences, because we learnt a lot from this jam!

Setting the game speed to 2x helps a lot! I overlooked that option in the settings

I love the style of the game and the way you used the theme, good job!

A bit of feedback: The combat feels a bit sluggish, because the enemies take a while to kill and the animations are pretty long. If the combat went a little faster, I'm sure the combat would feel snappier!

Otherwise though, I really enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing!

I think shooting the audio only dampens it a little... Either that or it's another unintended consequence

Great game! I love the art and story a lot.

The combat feels pretty solid too! Killing the bats in the overworld feels very similar to stardew valley's caves

I really enjoyed this, the gameplay and animations are solid! I don't have any bad things to say

I'm sure anyone can tell this game has great art from a mile away, it's incredible! The story is really interesting as well. I hope to get to see more art of yours in the future!

Funny game, it's very easy to pick up and play!

It's really polished and really fun to play!

The artstyle and gameplay are great!

The visuals look great and the game's pretty fun as well, good job!

Hey, thanks for the feedback!

I updated the page to clarify some things - we did not have enough time to finish the game and those puzzles you were trying to solve are impossible. I wrote more information about the puzzles in the description of the game page.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm sure Coy Koi and Marvin can get along together in the ocean

A really well polished game, good job!

This game is really cool! Being able to cross through your mind and build up your case in there, it is such an unique and interesting concept that I'd love to see more of!

It's a good game! It doesn't get too overwhelming or impossible.

The animations are great as well!

Great game! Made me feel overloaded, 10/10.

This was initially what we had in mind for our submission as well, but we changed to a different course. It's nice to see this concept executed so well!

Yeah, one of the mails does not go away after you complete its task. I faced a similar bug during development and thought that it was fixed, but this one slipped through to the end.

I'm glad you enjoyed it! I really enjoyed your entry as well!

Fortunately your computer explodes if you have too much to read through.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thank you!!

I really love this game! The artstyle is cute and the game is easy to pick up.

Would tranquilize cute looking animals again (to give them a happy and reformed life of course), 10/10

I have worked on a few small Godot games before. For this jam, I would like to work together with someone on building a game.

Feel free to send a reply!

The art style is really cute and the music is really well done, nice job!

The game doesn't seem to start for me. It's unfortunate since the title screen looks really good. A+ for the drums as well!

I have one more thing that I wanted to point out. Whenever I spoke to somebody, there was audio dialogue that played. However, when I skipped through it (sometimes it takes two skips) while the audio was still playing, it cut off all the future voice acting until I started a new conversation. This may be because not every line in the game is voice acted, but I'd like to point it out anyway. The only time where it did not happen as much was when I talked to the trio.

Hey marafrass,

Thanks again for responding. I have been playing on browser and when opening up the game I saw no "continue playing" button. All it says is "Click to begin", which then takes me to the beginning of the game, which means that to access my hopefully-still-alive savefile, I have to go through all of the beginning. I was not aware that a load button existed in the main menu.

The 'Main menu' I was referring to in the previous comment is the menu that opens up when you click the button with the three bars (ingame menu is a better term for it). I actually thought there was no main menu, as I thought the opening screen was just that: an opening screen.

If the savefile is erased, then it's no problem. It is out of your control. I am glad that you're listening to me and everybody else.

Hey marafrass, thanks a lot for responding to my message.

I saved the game to get back to it later, but there seems to be no load button. I believe there may be one on the main menu, but you can only access it once you're a lot further into the game and I would rather not want to wait that long. Or maybe I am overlooking something..?

To get this out of the way: this is a really, really good game, and I respect it a lot.  Clam man 1 is a gem if you ask me, and this one is bound to be better.

I only have one problem with the stand-up scene. After telling all three jokes, you are supposed to hit a button on the top left to leave. Instead, I clicked the homepage button after goofing around for a bit, but all the UI on the top left vanished. I stood in front of the audience for 5 minutes with no way to leave the stage. Speaking of awkwardness..

Hopefully you can recreate this and fix the issue.
