While I've been having a hard time with the character controls, I love the sound design & visuals -- and the leaderboard is something original that I haven't seen in a game jam project before. This is definitely a unique game that stands out in this jam.

Just left a review of your game, I think it's great!

I wrote a VN for this jam (and voiced creature vocals & a few other characters).

The team I worked with did an amazing job and it's great to see the games that other teams submitted too. Thank you for taking the time to review so many games here.

This is a really good concept which resulted in a unique game - and the aesthetics are perfect for this time of year. While I also had a hard time with the controls at first, it didn't take too long to figure it out. It's very impressive how much you were able to develop in a week.

I wrote a visual novel for this jam as well, and also voiced the creature vocals and some of the other characters.

Thanks for taking the time to play everyone's games. I hope you enjoy playing this game as much as the team I worked with enjoyed making it.

Unfortunately I'm not able to play your game since my computer's a Mac. But it looks like such a cool game! It gives me vibes that remind me of Little Nightmares. I'm sure that lots of people are having a great time playing it.

I wrote a body-horror visual novel for this jam (and also voiced creature vocals and a few other characters) .

Dungeon crawlers are always a blast to play! I really enjoyed the retro style of everything - from the gameplay & music to the sound effects & visuals. This game has lots of potential, and the work you were able to do in just a week is great!

Loved the retro aesthetic and use of the camera. The lack of lighting really adds to the terrifying vibes as you progress further in the game. This is definitely a unique entry that stands out in this jam.

I wrote a body-horror visual novel for this jam (and also voiced the creature vocals and a few other characters) . Taking place in the 1960s, you play as a door-to-door salesperson who gradually discovers that things aren't what they seem to be in the seemingly quaint little neighborhood of Autumnwood.

I just finished playing the game you submitted - it was great to see another entry that also has voice acting.

I wrote a VN for this jam and also voiced the dog & creature vocals, as well as a couple of other characters.

This game gave me the chills - it was great! The voice acting enhanced the tension of the cutscenes/gameplay and it was cool to see a bit of backstory during the first cutscene. It's been a long time since an indie game creeped me out like this, which is something I was hoping to see in this jam. Looking forward to seeing more games from you & the teams you work with in the future.

Unfortunately I'm unable to play your game since my computer is a Mac, but it looks amazing. I'm sure that lots of other people are having a great time playing it.

Your game was very creative, it was a nice surprise to see a platformer submitted to this jam.

This game was great! I wasn't expecting to see a platformer game in this jam, so this was a nice surprise. The music is very catchy - and the atmosphere and aesthetics are a perfect way to start celebrating the Halloween season.

Unfortunately I'm unable to play your game since my computer is a Mac. But it sounds like a very cool game that I'm sure lots of players here are enjoying.

I wrote a visual novel for this jam that can be found here: https://latobius.itch.io/phyco

Thanks so much for making this thread. The team I worked with would love to see our game being streamed.

Thanks for taking the time to play so many of the games that were submitted.

I also wrote a VN for this jam: https://latobius.itch.io/phyco

This was a very interesting game. The visuals are very unique and I enjoyed the cutscenes that were added to the gameplay. I look forward to seeing this story develop more as you add more chapters.

Unfortunately my computer is a Mac, so I'm not able to play your game at this time. It sounds like a very interesting entry to Scream Jam.

Hi there, I'd love to be considered for your game if you're still looking for team members. I'm a voice actor with six years of VO experience, as well as previous game writing experience for game jams. I don't have an official portfolio or demo reel yet, but I do have samples that show some of my current ranges. I'll leave the links to them below my contact info.

Thank you for the opportunity.

We're a small team of three members, currently working on a Lovecraftian fixed camera/tank controls game for the jam. We originally had a 3D artist/Godot level designer on our team, but unfortunately they bailed on us without warning. Hoping to get in touch with someone of those skillsets as soon as possible, as we don't want to lose out on any crucial time to develop this game.

Hi I'm Nicky, a voice actor/writer with over six years of VO experience, specializing in various creature vocals and child/teen voices. I don't have any official demo reels or a website yet, but I do have samples that showcase my current ranges as well as a voice acting resume that I'll link below:

I've also done narrative design for Seating Plan, a VN that was released for both the Sweet To Sour and NaNoReN0 jams of 2023: https://romromrow.itch.io/seating-plan-demo

Hoping to find a team soon and contribute to another amazing game jam.

Hi there, thanks so much for getting back to me so fast. Sorry for the late response, my notifications weren't showing up for some reason. I'd love to have you join my team for this jam. I'm open to being contacted through any of those places, it doesn't matter to me which one since I use all three frequently. I think we actually follow each-other on Twitter too, so I'll reach out to make sure I'm not mistaken. I look forward to working together on this jam :)

Hello, I'm a non-binary voice actor and writer/narrative designer with over five years of VO experience, as well as previous experience in writing for game jam projects. I have a game concept in mind for this jam but I'm also open to working on a completely different game idea if anyone has something else already planned.

My voice acting specialties are various creature vocals and child/teen voices, but I also have other character types in my range. I don't have an official demo reel or website yet, but I do have voice samples that show some of my current range:

I'm still working on making a writing portfolio and won't be able to share examples from the other games until they're released. But my YouTube channel also has some VO challenge entries that showcase both my writing and voice acting skillsets:

In case the link previews don't show up, I'll post my other info below as well.
I look forward to contributing to another game jam. Can't wait to see all of the submissions for this jam.

Yes I'm still available to team up for this jam.

Hi there, I'm a non-binary voice actor & writer with over five years of VO experience (including indie game work), as well as experience in writing horror stories and (most recently) a project for the 11th Themed Horror Game Jam. I have a couple different concepts for Sweet-To-Sour games, but I'm definitely open to working on a completely new idea/project for this jam.

My voice acting specialties are various creature vocals & kid/teen voices, and I also have a lot more character types in my range. I don't have an official demo reel or website yet, but I do have voice samples that show some of my current range:

I'm still working on a writing portfolio and am unable to share any script/flowchart samples from the other game I'm working on at this time. However, this game was loosely inspired by one of the submissions I wrote and voiced for Rachael Messer's VO challenges, which showcases both my writing and voice acting skillsets:

In case the link previews don't show up, I'll post my other info below as well.
I look forward to contributing to the Sweet-To-Sour game jam and getting to work with other people in this community. Can't wait to see all of the submissions for this jam.
