Cool project, pretty good story though characters seemed to pop up suddenly without warning. Consider making the text render more quickly so that fast readers like I don't have to wait for scrolling.

Unique artstyle and story, well done

Thank you!

nice unique visual style, also liked the soundtrack, maybe it would be cool to add some point&click elements or more choices

Thank you very much!

It was nice a game, and It had really cool art style, which made it unique.

Overall, well done, and keep up the good work.

I loved the art style! Really good game as well, I wish there was a way to control how fast the text goes though. Great game overall

I like the choice of drawing everything by hand, it feels more original and artistic!

The aesthetics are good and the game seems to have a good story however when it comes to the dialogue maybe have it continue by mouse click instead of the buttons as this made me think I would be skipping instead of continuing. Furthermore, for the cutsence don't have the mouse be shown on screen as I my first though was it was a point and click section.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

The visuals are really captivating! Huge respect for creating the drawing from scratch—great job!

I don't know if it's a problem with my computer or something, but I couldn't play the game neither on the game page or downloaded, it's just a black screen for me :(

I'm sorry, thanks for trying to rate it though.

Here is screenshot I don't want for you to think I'm lying or smh xD.

Bdw I tried to record it but I saw that I can put a link to the video and not upload my video lol.

I know you're not lying. I had problems with playing some of the other jam entries. Thanks for trying.

Very interesting visuals! Special respect for the fact that it was all drawn live. Good game!

Congrats on your submission! I like the unique artstyle!

The art was interesting. I'm not sure I understood the whole story, but I got a feeling the main character was suffering from mental illness caused by childhood trauma. The text was sluggishly slow, I wish there was an option to finish each line instantly.

This was a very interesting game. The visuals are very unique and I enjoyed the cutscenes that were added to the gameplay. I look forward to seeing this story develop more as you add more chapters.

Nice game! the graphics were really nice. And the story was really nice too. Unfortunantly, i skipped most part of the game, since it would take way too long and there wouldnt be room for more games. But 10/10 visual novel!

Developer

Thank you so much! I'm so happy you played it!

nice game!

The visual style and music are fantastic! I think focusing on the story is definitely worth developing further. I have to agree with other comments that it gets a bit hard to follow the plot near the end. But I believe you have a complete vision of the story—it just needs a little tweaking for the average player to make it a bit easier to follow. I’m sure you’ll manage this since adding a few extra scenes could help. Thank you for the game! :)

I'm making a second chapter and a third chapter that will definitely add more context. I wanted the player to slowly piece the plot together as they are reading the story.  The first one is mostly supposed to ask questions and seek a player's curiosity. Just thought I'd mention that, still happy people are playing it though!
