Cool visual style, unqiue but stressful controls, and very charming take on the theme.
Also, i happen to be able to read cyrillics and this font is pure hell to me
Glad you liked it!
This game went through a variety of puzzle concepts, and we even wanted to include a bossfight where one of the characters would take turns connecting their own nodes to disrupt yours.
Ultimately, we overscoped and had to leave some stuff out. Maybe I'll explore this concept more someday. Hopefully when Godot's GraphNode is refactored out of its janky API.
Hey! I was worried the "you may connect any amount of nodes" aspect was not communicated properly, but we didnt have time to make a more in-depth tutorial.
The puzzles actually have the same amount of resources every time - the top counter is for your global reputation.
In that puzzle, you had to chain multiple nodes to get enough orbs to choose one of the options. Sorry for confusion!
Hey! We (okhnid and naorazy) are a duo (slithernose) and we'll make games together here on itch.io in the future, might as well follow us to see more :p
and we're also making a steam game!
Just sayin' tho
That's an awesome and, I'd even dare to say, calming experience. After trying some of these jam games, all trying to impress me with content, moderately advanced systems, and expansive locations, it's good to just sit and play a simple match-3 game with a cat.
Other than that, the music is very great, it is very stable, and pleasant to look at.
That's a pretty cool game! Visuals are nice, music choice is fitting, and various reincarnations are pretty fun to see too, although the skeleton is OP due to enemies' detection range being pretty low.
"Respawn at the campfire" button is not very intuitive since its positioning makes it look like a title.
Button sounds are a nice touch!
Writing this as I play:
Would be more accessible if the intro slideshow required input and wasn't time-based.
Music choice is pretty nice, and art is charming in its own way. The name pun is pretty awesome.
Gotta be honest though, didn't have enough patience to see the ending, sorry.
UI animations in the shop were a nice touch btw
It didn't seem right to make a happy ending so i added Dark from my main project :P
Lags during loading are expected since I didn't really have time to implement a background loader
Also, FIREFOX WORKS?? Yo, didn't work for me. Maybe my setup or nvidia drivers are at fault. Now i feel bad for being unable to remove the browser check lol
