Game Description
A NodeGraph-based puzzle about fighting the freezing weather as a dictator.
How does your game tie into the theme?
Cold-themed storytelling and visuals. A lot of warmth in there too, though!

Omg, I totally loved the game, and I would be sad missing it!
The narrative is fantastic! Even made me cry a bit, tbh, but that's a sensitive topic. Great job!
Game-wise, though, I'd offer some critique. First, the balance seems a bit off - it was way too easy to get to the highest-tier victory (with almost double excess). I think making it actually hard to get to a good solution would be good for the game... Second - I totally love the node-connecting mechanics, but for the dialogues themselves, it is cool at first but becomes tedious/irritating quite quickly - I'd recommend regular messages for the linear part... Or make it more non-linear - then it would be cool and won't feel tedious.
Really unique way to handle decision making and politics in a game, I like the mechanic a lot. For ordinary dialogue line after line it would get a bit tedious in something longer but I liked the puzzle sections and thought the writing was quite good!
The node mechanic was super creative. I haven't seen this before in this context, and has given me lots of ideas on how it could be expanded. Really interesting!
What a cool story mechanic. The idea was well thought out a solidly executed! Good work!
This is idea is very creative. In my mind I saw the game something like a turn-based game. I have a collection of resources, and a set of actions. Each action can only be used once. Each action has a set of preconditions and each action I take on my turn modifies my resources. I can freely undo and rearrange my turns. The gray modifiers (my favorite) I pictured as "The next action you take, do XYZ such and such".
To me this is wide open for creative ideas! E.g. I'd like the ability to take an action more than once; this could be accomplished with, say, a node spawner that lets me create new nodes (e.g. "Tell the moose to calm down" or something)
Overall very cool concept!
Glad you liked it!
This game went through a variety of puzzle concepts, and we even wanted to include a bossfight where one of the characters would take turns connecting their own nodes to disrupt yours.
Ultimately, we overscoped and had to leave some stuff out. Maybe I'll explore this concept more someday. Hopefully when Godot's GraphNode is refactored out of its janky API.
Lovely creative tale that feels very ambitious and actually sticks the landing somehow and has so much heart! Was really nice
(also "N/A please don't decompile it it is THAT bad"... mood)
Yay! So far all of my jam games have been lovely tales that are very ambitious and somehow stick the landing...
But that's fine I guess. Can't hide the "amateur writer" in me :p
I really liked the novel approach on this one. It's quite refreshing to see how all the nodes all tie together. And the story carries on. I bet you all must have done a lot of writing on this!
Thanks! Writing was hell... Most of what you've read was done in the last day, and, no kidding, the 11TH HOUR NODE was made in the 11th hour of the jam xd
really REALLY unique I liked it!
Awesome and very interesting game with a totally unique art style and gameplay.
In the "freedom of speech" scenario i was stuck because i did not have enough resources to make any of the decision combinations.
Hey! I was worried the "you may connect any amount of nodes" aspect was not communicated properly, but we didnt have time to make a more in-depth tutorial.
The puzzles actually have the same amount of resources every time - the top counter is for your global reputation.
In that puzzle, you had to chain multiple nodes to get enough orbs to choose one of the options. Sorry for confusion!
Ahhh, thanks for reaching out!
Also thanks to the auto save function i could continue my game where i left off and finished it.
That was awesome! Keep up the good work!
