Thank you for the feedback!

I did try to incorporate some elements of ethical, environmental, and socioeconomic consideration in the upgrades, even if I might not know how to best explore these topics through the mechanics or environment

Let’s go 5% gang!

Congratulations on your submission! Here are some of my thoughts from playing the game
Aesthetics

- Text is hard to read due to bad spacing and lack of visual hierarchy
- music is great, it really sets a mood
- losing screen is completely unreadable

balance:
- there is only 1 type of enemy, so having different weapon options don't really matter

other:
- making game with Scratch is based
- game lags and very heavy on cpu despite being graphically very simple

Thanks for playing!  I've been adding exactly those things to the game just last night.  It's a shame we didn't implement them in time for the jam, although I'm happy we manage to scrape together this much for our first jam.  I'll be updating the game as soon as we've addressed the main game play issues (assuming the jam ends by then).

Thank you for the feedback!  We definitely noticed many of these points too, many things were just not implemented in time, but we plan on improving it over the coming weeks after the jam.

I understand your concerns about the gameplay focusing heavily on engaging with terminals and deciphering mechanics. It's important for us to strike a balance between complexity and enjoyment. We'll take your feedback into account as we continue to iterate on the game.

That said, I'm glad you appreciated the effort put into environmental design and special effects. We'll aim to maintain that level of quality while addressing the gameplay aspects you mentioned.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We're committed to delivering the best possible gaming experience, and feedback like yours helps us get there.

Thanks!  There is a help command, but it can be easily missed.  We're working on improving it after the jam ends

Title screen was so cool, but how to play the game?

Solid game play, music was good, sfx feel too loud

Pretty fun, but a bit easy.  Frame rate was dropping some times

Cool game.  I feel baited, where's the ship lol.  Also why does it not work for firefox :(

The voice over is so cool.  The not star is pretty sick too.

I thought the drill wasn't working at first cause there's no visual feedback.   The game we mad has a similar concept, but less finished :(

The voice over is so immersive!  Took us a while to figure out wait for the sun to go down.  There's some really good design choices that helps you know when to go or stop, and the sand storm chasing you down just when the sun comes up.

Cool puzzle game, I feel bad for the ones who didn't make it

I liked how the voice over tells you stuff.  Game play was a bit confusing though.

Voice over is great, the music is repetitive though, control was pretty smooth.

The song was pretty good, it fits the game pretty well.
Did you guys make everything yourself?
Game crashed when I drank the wine some times, not sure why.
