Fantastic work! 10 outta 10 :D

Thank you so much for playing! Glad you enjoyed the dice, tried to make them as satisfying as possible.

I agree the rules pages could use a bit of work, wanted to do exactly that, to put a dark transparent box behind the text but didn't get around to it.

Thank you for the feedback! :D

Thoroughly enjoyed this, there's a lotta potential here! I particularly liked the foliage brush, the animation of the trees sprouting up is great!

I really like the concept of this, I won't give away too much seeing as you have things behind spoiler warnings on the page. That being said I wouldn't have known what to do without checking them!

Exploring was highly enjoyable, what a unique way to navigate and build a picture of the world. Very atmospheric and just the right amount of eerie. But still relaxing!

If you wanted to keep the mystique and also make the game more accessible, how about giving the player all the controls, but not telling them what the "secret" ones do! The player then knows that there's more to this than meets the eye and they can take their time exploring and finding out for themselves. However this could also end up being frustrating so it would need to be done right.

Excellent work! :D

This is a really cute game, I love the dialog between Aidan and Nolan!

Similar to a couple other comments, I also got a bug where the foot got stuck after killing me, and I kept getting squished. It happened at the part where you have to climb back over the cans.
And I didn't realise I could wall-jump, a way to introduce that would help.

Otherwise it was entertaining, and quite challenging!

Keep it up! :D

Lovely little game! The music is top notch, and the visuals are excellent, the sprites really pop out at you!

Gameplay-wise, movement is very smooth and satisfying. The instant respawn lets you just keep going, especially when trying to unlock the other character! (Just about managed it at 44 seconds)

Also Pepperoh-no is the best level name ever!

Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it! :D

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for your kind review :D

It's surprisingly strategic for a game decided by dice! I'm very proud of the AI, it's tough enough to be challenging but not impossible to beat.

I'd love to make this playable online, networking is an area of game development I haven't explored yet, so who knows!

Thank you very much! :D

Thanks for playing! The matches can be quite captivating for sure, they often end up very close. I greatly appreciate the compliments on the animation and sounds! The music was found online, but I recorded or made the sound effects myself. :)

I agree, the rules weren't very clear on where the board begins and ends. As for the dice, I think when they don't touch the cursor properly it won't count as being rolled. I had intended on highlighting the end goal like the tiles, but totally forgot before I submitted it!

The bug in the tutorial is strange, thanks for point it out, I'll have to look into it!

Thank you for the in-depth review! :D

Very cool! Tried for ages to get a high score but couldn't quite make it. xD

This would be interesting to play with a lightgun!

Got a high score of 116! Very neat concept, shooting backwards while avoiding things is tricky! especially when it gets up to supersonic speeds!

The atmosphere is great, very spooky! I found it kinda hard to tell when an enemy was coming or when they could see me. I understand you had to avoid their lights but wasn't too sure where they were coming from.

Other than that its a great concept!

Short and sweet! I love the minimal art style! Gathering a small army to fight is super enjoyable. And it was quite well balanced, it wasn't overly difficult and your army didn't steamroll everything either. Very well done! :D

Very atmospheric! Got stuck in the room behind the heavy weapons guy however!

Very nice puzzle game, this could get very challenging! Well done!

I love the idea of a procedural golf course and this has a lotta potential!

Pretty good for something made in just 24 hours! Keep it up! :D

Thanks so much for playing! Mancala is an excellent game, it is a bit similar!

Keep at it, you'll beat it! :D

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed playing around with the dice, I tried to make 'em as satisfying as possible!

This was very sweet! The Game Boy sounds and visuals really suit the story and gameplay, gives it a kind-of nostalgic mysticism.

That first screen is a doozy, took a little while to find the way in!

This is cool! Very old-school.

This was really fun! I love the art style, its clean and consistent, and all the important things jump out at you.

The gameplay is excellent, trying out the different rune combinations is really satisfying. There's so much potential for different powers and items, cant wait to see what you add next!

Level generation is great, no two levels feel similar. The layout always allows for an escape route, I never felt too boxed in, unless I ended up in that position by mistake!

All it's missing is sound, though that could be a problem on my end!

One or two things I noticed:

-When you pick up something that increases your health, it looks like you take damage because your "remaining health" bar gets shorter compared to the max health. Decreasing your max health makes it look like you gained it. It's only cosmetic but it could lead to a bit of confusion.

-Item drops are occasionally obscured behind the top of the walls.

-Ranged enemies often try to shoot through solid walls.

Other than that its a really solid game, keep it up! :D

Highly enjoyable! the movement felt just right, nice and weighty.

Took a minute to get my head around the controls, but once I got going it was really fun! The gravity reversal really makes ya think about what you're doing. A visual cue to indicate the direction would help a lot.

Thank you for playing! I definitely could have made the board direction a bit clearer, there's an animation that shows which way the pieces move but its not totally obvious.

This is a really cool idea! There's a lotta directions you could go with it.

Man, this was actually fantastic! It's like finding a long-lost DOS game. Everything felt really snappy and responsive, the graphics look super clean and retro. It's a nice twist on the genre.

This was fun to play! The platforming felt really nice and precise.

I love the retro style of this, grew up playing stuff that looked like this :D

Well done with the random generated maze, I really like the different biomes. Luring monsters around is really fun too, the sound mechanic is great!

"Well y'see, I grew up watching anime" - Professor Poodle-Doodle.

I really enjoyed this! The writing is excellent, Sally is stone cold! Paired with the super cute visuals it made for a very entertaining time :D

5 Stars all around!

Very cute and nicely challenging!

There's a lot to explore here! The little bits of dialog are fantastic.

No I think I've used up my luck with that guess!

Very cute! Love the style and the sounds. How has your experience with Godot been? I've been considering picking it up.

I love little sims like this, so fun to play around with! The low-poly style is lovely.

The chunky pixel art is really nice! Got all 4 endings, that cave shroom is well hidden!

This is just the right amount of frantic, really fun to play! The main mechanic is satisfying and intuitive.

Charming! Love the low-poly style and the varied dialogue. Guessed one on the first go and was delighted to see her get mad about it! xD
