Great feedback - The bullets should definitely be a one shot. They're at least something you can dodge too. So I'll be using things like lasers and other dodgeable insta-kills.

My interpretation of the theme was to delve (Fight) the darkness. I thought it would be more interesting to face the fear of darkness and to reveal it for what it is, while showing that it's conquerable - than to directly attack darkness with a weapon.

Sometimes Fighting is just to survive.

Glad you like it! :D

Thank you so much for the feedback! I'll look into your suggestions. It was originally supposed to be a Star Fox-like clone, and I used Mouse instead of Controller / Arrows as a placeholder, and it just stuck.

For your second point with the saturation, I SORTA do that - But you're right, it's definitely not enough and I'll make adjustments.

Thanks for trying it! Yeah Options and Mouse Sensitivity definitely on my TODO.

Hell yeah, basically 100k. That's a gamer right there. :o

I see what you were going for - This is a neat little NES-like platformer with a lot of little quarks to figure out.

I had fun. :)

You can't be making addictive games like this alright. As soon as I saw that leaderboard I knew it was about to get real. lol

Really fun! I don't think it was too difficult - I think the main issue was diagonal movement is slower than one direction. Knowing that, I was able to escape the mobs at the start and get pretty far in.

Good job!

Adorable with an addicting gameplay loop. Great job! :D

Gotta beat 100k  :D

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing! That's all we're ask for sometimes. :D

Thanks for trying it Trumane! I'm currently working on a Leaderboard. :)

Thanks! I'm glad I was able to achieve a feeling of fair difficulty without much frustration, that was my main goal.

Floor is lava puzzles, really neat - Liked the shadow effect. :)

Rambo the shit out of the darkness!

Good interpretation, the story was interesting. :)

Who needs lamps when I got a boomstick!

This was fun, the grudge noises in the dark actually scared the hell out of me. lol

Nice tech - Not so sure the game itself is winnable. But it's interesting. :)

Ain't no zombie, dracula, or skelington gonna keep this lil ghost boi from candies.

The art is adorable, good job. :)

Step 1: Light all the lamps
Step 2: Get your damn spooky chores done

I had fun :D

Wasn't certain what I needed to do - Until I brought bounteous light to the domain. :)

Nice theme interpretation, I like the lore. Very souls.

This was a lot of fun, built for SPEED. Zoom across the map, gotta get me some lamps. Haha

I love deck builders - This was pretty straight forward and fun. I couldn't stop playing. lol
Are you going to keep working on it?

Tricky but fun, I liked that you risk your health for vision.

Fun little platformer, the movement was pretty tight and I really liked the POP mechanic.

Has a lot of juice. lol

PEASANT ARMY GO!

Really neat concept :)

Really neat mechanics, I actually managed to beat it!

I could see this expanded on if you kept working on it - Maybe a larger arena vertically, that was my main problem trying to get around the blind dudes. :)

This was a lot of fun! I love little boss rushes. Great vibe, love the visuals and mechanics.

I was able to get it working by placing the extra images in \www\img\system

The writing was fun, I actually got spooked a few times. The fights were a bit tough - I don't know if I'm just bad though. lol

This is a neat little prototype - You should definitely keep at it. :)

This was really fun, scared the hell out of me sometimes. Mechanically really interesting with the map and item engagement. It's a great start if you want to push it further for sure.

I actually got spooked. lol

Had me spooked lol

Very well made, was a lot of fun. :)

I really love your take on the theme - The writing actually hit me pretty hard.

We can't be afraid to ask for a little help out of our own dark sometimes.

"It's a shame you forgot how to do everything" - That's just how it be sometimes huh. lol

Ain't gonna catch me ghost boi! Was fun :)

I liked the feeling of loneliness and despair you created - This was great. :)
