Really nice piece of music. I feel like it's nostalgic of the nineties and early 2000's ambient synth lines. It's really cool how you're using the arps in the background to keep a pulse going and the drums are really great. The kicks were especially well crafted. I usually appreciate a good effort on the drums and a lot of reverb and this delivered on that front. It's very much a style that I choose to listen to regularly, so I'm a really big fan. Thanks for the submission!

Very nice collection of tracks. I definitely hear the watery location feel of a video game for each of these. I would say my favorite of the three is the second one because of the general combination of instruments, but each has its own unique feel to it that makes sense to have included.
Very cool to have a collaboration project like this in here. Very cool to see different interpretations like this.
Some of the melodies sound like the cats singing or something. That's the image i have lol I like a lot of the vocal qualities out of the synth sounds you're using. Melodically it's very strong!
I like the diverse genres you're using throughout all the tracks. They all feel uniquely different enough to feel like different locations. I think the concept you have about two area themes and an event theme comes across very well.
Overall very good! Enjoyed listening to this and liked that it was very lighthearted. Works well for a "Cat Game!"
I like that you made a chiptune for this. It was such a nice change of pace and I appreciate you putting in the effort it takes to make that happen. Really stood out to me! The trailer shows that you can write more than just chiptunes too which I think is smart for a competition like this. Good job!
Blue Fantasy is giving me Animal Crossing museum vibes, which is working for the concept well!
Guidance has some really nice piano lines in it. The repetitions feel good the whole time and that's hard to do.
Fun In Coral Town! is my favorite of the 5. Makes me think a bit of Adventure Time. The sliding melody is great.
Abyssal Nightmare is strangely refreshing because of the change in tone, even though it's dark. I think the bass line really holds everything together nicely.
In Loving Memory loved the repeating intro the turns into a longer melody. Great development with that.
Overall excellent job! Loved the concept and I think a game would work well with music like this.
Loved the metal vibe to the idea. Excellent vocals on the last track and the second track went so hard. I love this type of sound and think you did an awesome job.
My favorite is actually the first one! I think it sets the tone really well and I had a solid understanding for what to expect in the others. Incorporating the theme into the lyrics at the end was also a nice touch that resonated with me too. We did a similar idea to have the last track a full song, but our implementation was totally different. I love that comparison and seeing stuff like this is why I love doing these jams. Great work!
Most in depth comment yet. Thanks for putting so much thought into the feedback. The track that was harsh in the piano part is totally true. I just listened back and it’s because of the piano library. I’ve been having quite a bit of trouble with that Steinway sound on tracks and i think there is some clipping on some of the notes in the actual library itself. Frustrating but I’ve been able to troubleshoot that after your comment so thanks for that.
I really appreciate all the kind words and the main things you pointed out were the main qualities u wanted to stand out for each track. I think we have similar ears.
Thanks again.
That’s super nice of you to say! I’m really glad you liked it. Thanks for listening to everything! I know it ended up being a lot.
Yes that’s me in there! It means a lot that you liked that song specifically. The main goal for the project was to write a song because I’m trying to get myself to sing more on everything.
Also, I’m always down to collaborate on tracks! Send me over the discord info and I’ll find people looking for guitar music.
