Probably you haven't found that upgrade yet. We have 3 upgrades, it's the last one, so it's possible you haven't got that one yet (yeah, the itch page should mention it's an upgrade xd). Thank for playing!

(1 edit)

Try to get the upgrades, then get to the final zone. The text will give you a hint on the win condition. It's a bit cryptic tho, so you have to think a little

I'm one of the creators of this game, and I think we did a great job

Very creative,  so much potential in the game, maybe the controls are a bit weird, but I don't know how it could be done better

Probably the one where you have to make the ladder smaller, so your character can reach the steps

You even made it to the front page of itch, that's where i found the game. Really fun and interesting game. Poor zilla, looks so sad when kills everyone :c

(Also did a run where i just spammed A and D and almost managed to win)

Okay i will definitely come back and play this, because i feel like this game requires a lot more time than what i have right now. Feels awesome, i spent too much time trying to break the godot physics engine. Cool concept, fits the theme really well, and suprisingly I didn't encounter any bugs. How did you do that? xd

Bloodborne level lore right here

Okay, i see what you did there. Game is a bit janky at times (physics, and ui), but apart from that it's a really great concept. Would've loved to see more puzzles, and see what you can do with these mechanics.

Okay, one more thing i realized. You didn't make the scoring too difficult, you made the spawning inconsistent. One run I didn't die and could only get like 8k because only one enemy spawned at a time, but in an other run i made like 18k with 1 death, because most of the times 3 enemy spawned. So don't worry, the game isn't too hard, you just need to get a good run.

Okay, it took a bit of time to figure it out, and to get the timing down on the slam and the dash while they are stunned. But after i figured it out, holy shit the movement feels amazing and tight. The shielded enemy was my arch nemesis, but it felt so good to stun then push him out from the playground like a mile away. Only criticism I have is maybe on the title screen you could have mentioned the stomp and the fling mechanics, not everyone reads the itch page sadly. But thanks for the cool game!

You already know about the rope, one other constructive criticism i have is maybe bind the climbing and jumping to the same button. Probably climping would be a lot easier. But still, I see what you wanted with the rope, and it could be a great idea

can't post the picture, so just imagine a silly looking dog here

WHAT THE DOG DOIN
look at that cute rotating silly little guy

Cool concept and awesome art! Maybe found it a bit too easy, died once, then i felt like i knew everything. a text explaining the mechanics would have been nice probably, but still awesome for a 4 day jam

I'm gonna see a low poly rat with high res textures in my nightmares tonight.

Funny (and scary) idea, it's a shame that it's not spinning with free bird playing in the background.

My girlfriend saw me play this, she's an art student, and she can't shut up about how good the stylization is

i killed so many poor geckos :c

Banger gameplay, i would love to see this running in the browser instead of the default dinosaur game. Probably could be achieved somehow with browser scripts.

im one of the developers of this game and i think we made a pretty good job! i r8 T̵̙̖̮̾̄́̋́͌͊͘͝H̵̜̪̗̭̝̬͍͓̼͌̍̕͝͝Ȩ̵̖̖̠͍̫̄̌̃̈̎̒ͅ ̴͇͓̒̎F̷̩͆̎̈́̆͆̅̍͛Ǒ̴̱̺̞̀̃͆̕G̷̹̰̏͐͋̋̿͐̊̾͗͝͝ ̸̗̹̻̑̾́̍̀̄I̷̗̖̫͉̺͓̻̥̪̎̋͐͒̆̔͐S̴̙̻̠͍̎̓̊̏͋͋͘͘͝ ̷̛̱͉̖̌̽̍̏͘Ċ̷̛̫͍̞̈́̌̄̆̅̓̊̏̃Ȍ̵̺͓͎̤̰͍̤̖̦̤̂̎̔̈́̏̿͝͝M̴̡̨̧̰̠̬͈̪̮͔̹͋̀͒͐͠I̴̢̛̛͔̖͉̪͍͂͒̅̊̆͋ͅǸ̵̢̙͓͍̖̹̱͈G̴̙̤̘̈́͊ stars

Awesome that you could do this in 4 days. Character creator was impressive, good idea for the gameplay, can be repetitive, but in 4 days what more can you expect?

Amazing visuals! Had my eyes wide open the first time I stood in front of the house. Like: "oooh... it's that type of game", had me scared ngl

Music looping was a bit annoying, but apart from that it's actually really fun! With more enemies and door magic and upgrades and stuff I could imagine this as a full game. Loved the visuals, especially the big falling door's

With more doors this game can be really great! Has a lot of potential

Chill game, could run around for hours! Amazing visuals too!

The mood and the visuals are great, sadly i had some trouble because the character kept turning and wouldn't stop :c

Cool little game! Very relaxing and fun! Maybe you could pause the game when you have to select the upgrade

Cool game, great puzzles! Pressing reset too much can break the game, but apart from that the puzzles had me thinking. Great job!

Couldn't solve the last puzzle, but it was still amazing, and had me thinking. Great job!

Great game! The intro cutscene didn't play for the first time (yeah, I played it twice), but did the second time, and with it, it was an amazing game with a cool concept. It's amazing you did this in a week! Had a few glitches here and there (especially ui and sound) but nothing game breaking. Well done! Amazing narrator, 5/5 audio

I'm gonna frame your comment and put it up my wall

Ooooooh, a little effect would be nice, thanks for the idea. Good luck with the game, completing it is definetly a challange <3

By closing the doors (the ones which lead from room to room) you can lock out the effects. Try to lock out the effect which makes the tentacles appear from the first room (didn't have the time for a proper tutorial, the itch page gives a bit of info on the mechanics)

Try closing the doors between the rooms ;)

Also, interract works for F and E as well

Ahhh makes sense now. Sadly some places the side doors are a bit hard to find

Around this height?

Try closing the doors which lead from room to room ;)

The only trick is that you have to be facing the door while opening it (I know, we should've added this to the tutorial xd)

It's a problem with the hitboxes, we know it's a bit janky, but didn't have time to fix it. Thanks for the kind words, it's a huge moral boost after a week of not sleeping <3
