Of all the games I have played for this jam this is by far my favorite by a mile. I love the subtle messaging and clues while not handholding the player into the ending. It is satisfying to get to the end and realize all the time wasted on fruitless endeavours. And yet, all of those efforts were not wasted since they built up to the satisfaction of finding the solution. Everything fit so well together. I love the aesthetic of the profiles of the birds. I also liked the building frustration as you lose all of your items and try your best to balance a scale that can never get there. While frustrating in the moment it pays off in the end. Keep making games! I am excited to see what you have next :)

Thank you for your kind words. I was surprised at how satisfying the controls would be. I wish I had more time to figure out all of the movement options.

Thanks for playing :) Falling can suck but you just need to keep trying. You will learn through failure.

I am so glad you got the web version working. The controls are so unique and satisfying to use. They are somewhat similar to the movement in my game. Only having a and d to move is a super cool idea.

Great job! I liked the variety of objects that you can grab.

For sure

This is super cool. I wish it was more clear about the limits of building.

The game is fun and fresh with the sale system. It would be cool to have the option to get upgrades to sacrifice some of the money made in the hopes that it pays off later.

The game was confusing. It felt like I was not moving with the background following me.

I wasn't sure what I was supposed to build but the game said I did a good job :)

The upgrades would have been really cool. I like the movement and how packed it feels.

The game is satisfying to move around in. I found it frustrating when you got stuck between multiple enemies and the wall. I think adding a knockback on the enemies would help a lot with that though.

It doesn't have a load screen at all. Have you enabled SharredArrayBuffers? You used to have to do that on Godot although it might be fixed on 4.3.

Good game. A little slow-paced at times.

I wish it would be a bit more clear on how big you need to get through a trench. The movement is quite nice.

I am not sure if I played this correctly but the hits did not seem very intuitive. It looked like some of my hits would score for the other player. I don't know if this is a bug or if I am just bad at the game. I like the concept but it needs more clarity on the hits.

I really like the aesthetic of the game and the controls really have potential. The game feels a bit too slow. There should be no to minimal down time between enemies and don't be afraid to spawn more than one. I don't know if I missed it but I also did not find any new weapons. Another cool mechanic would be to manually open and close the eye giving up visibility in order to have more energy. It would be cool to balance all of that in quick bursts. Very appealing game with a lot of potential.

The game does not load for me :(

I love the balance (pun intended) between finding the perfect balance and getting orders in on time.

Grapple was very fun to use and I love the momentum. I feel the game would have been better a bit more zoomed out and looking more the the right so that you can see what to do next. It also would have been cool to have more objects in the air between buildings to hook onto. The moments where you are flying through the air were super cool and fun.

Thanks for the feedback. I actually have some shortcuts in place to reward understanding the movement better. For the conveyors, if you full kick right while holding up you can then go up and right again while in the air and skip most of that section. You would only really know to do this once you fully complete the section for real which was something I wanted to go for in this game. I probably should have pushed players to try these techs earlier though since it is a bit scary to risk it by that point. You are more than halfway there though, keep pushing and you will make it in no time :)

This game reminds me of cutting dessert in half and letting my brother choose which slice to have. I knew that skill would come in handy one day. I got a perfect 50/50 on broccoli.

Great game. I think I somehow clipped out of the attic at the end so I played it again to get the true experience. Really messes with you.  I love that the game does not do much to scare the player and leaves it up to their imagination.

I think I peed a little

Thanks for playing

The difficulty curved well with the powerups to always make it seem impactful and challenging. The game gets a little repetitive at the end. Very well done!

Very well done!

I like the idea. Although I found you could get by through only knowing the weight of 2 items. I also got a strange bug where they would ask for bandages and no bandages.

I love the theme—great use of scale and the keys.

Thanks for playing :)

The drifting is so satisfying

This is amazing

Thanks for playing our little game and for the feedback. I really like the idea of having a toggle skip action animations.

Fun game. I love the music. I don't like how you have to keep going around that counter.

Great game. I love the art and the interactions in the game.

Thanks for the feedback. I should have clarified that hovering over the health bar showed the player's stats. I did not have time to add enemy stats... I did not know what to do for the enemy movement when they were not aggro so I just had them pick random spots. Thanks for the feedback and encouragement :)

You can also try playing with someone else and each control a tank. Only local though :(

Yah I realize that the colors are a bit hard to read. Once they cross over it becomes impossible to control lol

Do it!

I really like the puzzles. I have always wanted to make a puzzle game but crafting the puzzles with the mechanics is so hard. Great work!
