thanks so much! sorry for the late reply

thanks so much for playing and thank you for the feedback!

yea this should win. u did the audio design with code or middleware? crazy cool.

really liked the art. i wish there was music in the game. i never played the original so i didn't really know what to do except avoid stuff.

nice. reminds me of enter the gungeon with the different gun types. bullets look great too. personally i felt like the vibe of the music didn't really match the intensity of the game, but i did like the tune!

downloaded the zip but there was no application =(

my favorite one so far. loved the dark vibe of the visuals with the dungeon synth music. enemy designs were awesome too.  well done.

i really liked the art for the bad guy haha. was a bit confused by the white X's. I thought I was supposed to get those to hurt the boss and ended up dying. nice work tho. reminds me of old school zelda bosses.

very nice. music reminded me of inside the deku tree in OoT. i liked the throwing up too haha

thanks so much!

Very cool. especially loved the music and the forest of clouds. the font and narration style made me think of those old silent horror movies like vampyr. very nice work.

cool. felt kind of like a hommage to the old school streets of rage games. personally i think the game would have flowed a bit better with the enemies having less hp but being more aggressive. the art and sprites are really nice, as is the text and menu. a well done beat em up.

couldn't find the river. i liked the low poly wolf and the idea of being a wolf running around solving peoples problems. the music was interesting too. nice

ran around for a while but couldn't find any ammo. sprites were cool tho. I liked the angel.

the most solid game i've played in this competition so far! loved the art style. it reminded me of the  Getting Over It game but with Keith Haring art style. the toilet cutscene at the end was hilarious too. very very good.

really beautiful looking game. unfortunately i get really bad motion sickness, so the camera blur and the intense mouse sensitivity meant that I couldn't play it for more than a few minutes. if you add some settings that change those things i'd really love to give it another try. very relaxing setting and atmosphere.

too many zombies not enough time before getting touched. if i had health i would have kept trying

Nice game. Level design was well done, and I really liked the in game soundtrack, as well as the sprites in the left bottom corner that would change when you became a new animal. I did notice that the button click sound effect in the main menu keeps looping if you click it, and that the last level you could just walk under the red balls. cool idea though, nice work.

Thanks so much for playing!! Haha glad u enjoyed the animal sounds

huh.. thats really strange. haven't had anyone else experience that yet. will look into it

nice work. love the mechanic of switching between ghost and human. i got stuck on the level with the first rose, the jump angles were very specific and i did get almost to the end one time but i screwed it up and had to start from the beginning. maybe a check point there when you turn human again half way through the level would have been helpful for me. also, loved the music!

Thanks for checking out our game! Sorry that it was buggy for you. would you mind describing what kind of bugs you were experiencing, so that we can fix them in the updated version? I know a lot of people were having trouble with the graphics setting being set too high when the game first opens. if its that, maybe try lowering the graphics setting in the game main menu and see if that helps.

and yes, I will check out your game right now!

Ahhh that's probably a smart idea to explain that the notes are supposed to be played on beat. Thanks for letting us know. Also thanks so much for checking it out and playing the game.

thank you so much for playing and for your feedback. Something we forgot to mention in the build we uploaded is that you can use shift to run!!!

i liked the gun shot sound. wish there was other sounds to make me feel more immersed. the core loop is cool, i liked spending my money on upgrades. nice work

nice. i liked the kind of vampire survivor-esque attack mode combined with defending something on the map. loved the day/night music cycles too.

What I enjoyed most about this game was its awesome, end of the world mood. the sound design was really well done, i loved the background ambience as well as the footsteps and dashing sounds. the mechanic was too hard for me to get used to before the time loop would activate though, so even though i tried for a good 10 or so minutes, I never really progressed. i think for me i might have done a bit better if i had been able to use the arrow keys to move with my right hand, then dash and jump with my left. seriously though, one of my favorites that i've played so far in this jam. great work.

thank you so so much for playing, and for your thoughtful feedback. We are currently working on fixing all the bugs as I'm typing this and we plan to release the finished version on steam within the next few weeks. Honestly, you're totally right about the theme of the jam not being totally baked into the game concept. the ending cutscene/dialogue helps tie it together a bit, but since that didn't make it into the game it's hard to feel the connection.

Again, really appreciate you playing our game and your feedback. We're really looking forward to releasing the finished version.

thank you so much for your kind words and feedback! And thanks for letting us know about the yellow code that shows up toward the beginning. So glad you enjoyed our little game. Thanks for playing.

appreciate that!

really liked the music and the aesthetic of the game.

Really nice work. loved the world and coming back as different creatures, and the music fit really nicely with the environment. was a bit irritated at the stamina function, but other than that i had a lot of fun.

haha we cut it close for sure. thanks so much for playing. we're so glad you enjoyed it.

nice game. got to about level 4 and then i got a bit frustrated cuz i kept hitting the borders. the music was really nice as well!

Very liminal. love the idea. kind of reminded me of a mechanic in outer wilds where things change when you aren't observing them. didn't know what to do with all the keys. liked the music too.

Nice. i liked watching the mushrooms grow.

Thanks so much for checking our game out! So glad you found it relaxing and enjoyed the music. The theme of the jam definitely could have been more pronounced in the game, you're totally right.

thank you!

thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. loved making the character head bang lol. also the guitar music was awesome, probably my favorite part.
