Boa time! Ficou show! Amei a estética do jogo ficou lindo!

I’ve seen some games tagged with accessibility features and there’s even seen you can filter by them when searching but I can’t figure out how to add those tags to my games. Can someone help me out?

Arrasaram!

NICE

Thank you very much for your comment! We’re glad you enjoyed our game! Yes, we feel if we had managed to add any end-state to the game it would have benefited a lot from it. We’ll learn from this experience any try to manage our time better next time.

Thank you again for your comment and good luck with the jam!

Thank you for your feedback! We agree with your concerns about the repetitiveness of the gameplay. We knew the game was gonna suffer from that to some extent since we didn’t have time to implement the variations we intended. This game jam served as a valuable learning experience for us when it comes to due dates and organization and such, seeing as most of us had never participated in something similar before.

We intend to keep working on the game and add some gameplay variety in the near future. Thank you very much for playing our game and for your kind words! We really appreciate it!

Hmm might have been a problem with my screen size then cause I did look for it. Oh well :p

hahahaha XD

Thank you very much! We're glad you enjoyed it!

The balance of the game is something we unfortunately didn't find the time to fine-tune before submitting but we will surely be revisiting that shortly. As to not having a clear ending, that was as well an unfortunate consequence of us mismanaging our time constraints. It was an essential part of the game and we should definitely have prioritized it more. That said, it is also something we intend on adding to the project in the near future.

Thank you again for commenting and good luck with the jam!

Thank you for your review! That is not us doing the voice-over haha! It is actually a royalty-free asset we used: https://freesound.org/people/alexpadina/sounds/36796/.

As to seeing the game play out, we are looking into ways to convey what is happening in the match to the players to help the game feel better, but we haven't settled on anything yet.  Thank you again for your feedback and good luck with the game jam!

I really liked this game! The music, sound, and gameplay all come together very nicely! I also thought the puzzles were very clever and well-paced! Had a lot of fun with this one! I do have one accessibility recommendation, however. I think allowing players to press and hold a directional button to move the level instead of having to press only once every time would help make the game feel more fluid.

Anyway, I really liked this game! I'm impressed with the level of polish you achieved in so little time! Good job!

This game was quite fun! I felt the gameplay loop was rewarding and a really cool take on the theme. The art, sound, VFX, and animation in this game were also really fantastic! I especially loved this color palette! My one hangup in not having been able to beat the third fighter. Trying to guess where they would punch while managing the believability and my own health bar was fun in the first two fighters but got really frustrating in the third one. I feel like any kind of indication of where he would punch would help a lot. Regardless, this was quite fun to play! Very impressive for 48h!

The art here was so pretty! I really loved the watercolor backgrounds especially! Really nice stuff. I will say though, I was a little confused as to what I had to do, even after reading the description I couldn't figure it out which was a little frustrating. Either way, I think the game feels polished and well-made, especially considering the time frame. Nicely done!

I liked this a lot! very polished and complete. Nice job! Spawning cars was a good way to approach the subversion of Frogger. Very clever stuff.

This was pretty fun. I like the idea of having different cars that dodge in different ways, adds a nice layer of depth to the game. The game also has a very clean 3D look that I really enjoyed.  Great stuff!

I do have one suggestion though. I think a score counter could be nice. I'd like to know how well I'm doing while playing. (Btw, I got to score 38. nothing too impressive but I managed to beat the challenge you added in the description haha)

- João G Borges

I really liked this! A very clever take on the "roles reversed" theme in so many ways! The level design was really clever and well-paced. I especially liked how the mechanics were introduced one at a time to give us time to get used to them. Very cool game! If I could make a suggestion, I'd say to try to make it so we can see both screens at once. Switching between both scenes got a little jarring a times and I'd often forget what puzzle does what or which character I left where.

I feel this is a really nice little puzzle game and I can see it develop into something really cool in the future if you were to continue this. Solid stuff!

Thank you for playing and leaving a comment! I agree the balance is off. The reality is that it'll be different for each player because each person in the crowd gets assigned a random team when the match scene is loaded. This was made this way because we intend to expand the game and make it so you can get items and power-ups in a shop in-between matches that can increase your chances of having more people on your side than your opponent. That said, this mechanic of randomizing each person isn't great for the balance lol :p

Also, if it's not too much to ask, can you tell me which buttons you are referring to? Do you mean the mute button? If so, we are aware of the mute not working. Otherwise, I'd like to know which buttons you mean. Either way, we will be looking into it.

Thank you again for playing our game! We're all very grateful!

- João G Borges

Thank you for your comment! Yes, this version of the game doesn't have a win condition just yet. We'll be implementing one shortly, but for now, I think we'll look for ways to communicate that better so that people trying out the game don't get trapped waiting for something to happen when there is no way to win or lose.

Also, thank you for the suggested changes to the layout of the page, I agree it makes things clearer and so I've decided to actualize your recommendation :p

- João G Borges

This game was quite creative and unique! I like the idea of fishing the fisherman, pretty clever take on the theme. I also like the power-up system, gives the game a nice extra bit of depth. I will say I think the game was quite difficult! I was having a tough time even in easy mode lol

Overall, pretty fun game! Congrats :p

- João G Borges

This was pretty fun! I like the cute 3D models and the little animation on the end screen a lot! A very funny take on the theme, too! I think the model was clipping through the ground or something. When I was walking around, GrandMa would shake quite a bit, but maybe she's just getting old :p

- João G Borges

Were you the artist in this game? The animations looked fantastic! Congratulations!

- João G Borges

I really loved this take on the reversed tower attack idea! I think the actual towers attacking is pretty funny and leads to some unique designs. I really like how each tower has its own abilities and uses and I love the pixel art and the animations. Really cool stuff! I think I found that spending all my money on the lighthouse that shoots little pellets was the way to go and made the game quite easy once I figured that out. This was a really fun idea and I'd love to see it develop further sometime!

- João G Borges

This game was fun and it looks quite nice! I think I would have liked to have some visual indication of how close I am to destroying a tower. I also lost at one point while I still had quite a lot of troops left on the field so I'm not too sure I understand the "power" meter thing and what it does. Still, had a fun time and the game looks quite polished for 48h. Good job!

- João G Borges

I really like the gameplay here, felt very creative and unique. The game felt challenging even without a full loss condition; I think the checkpoints were a good idea in that regard. Very well done!

-João G Borges

Thank you for playing our game! We are aware of this problem with some of the cheers being partially off-screen and it isn’t anything particular with your screen size, it’s currently built into the game and it’s something we plan on fixing very soon. We also agree with you the game needs some balancing and a win or a loss condition. These were things we unfortunately couldn’t get to due to the time constraints.

Thank you for taking an interest and leaving a review! We really appreciate it.

- João G Borges

Thanks for the reply! Yes, an end condition was unfortunately left out due to our time running out, but it’s something we plan to look into to.  Also, thank you for your suggestions with the contrast, I tried for a while to make that button pop but this light pink can make that a little difficult with a lot of colors, so I think I’ll test some new things soon.

Thanks you again for playing our game!

Hi! Thank you for commenting! Yes, we found this mute glitch a little while ago, not sure what happened there since the mute was working just fine in the editor but we'll look into it. I'm glad you enjoyed our simple clicking game! Unfortunately, we didn't manage to finish the win and loss-conditions in time for the jam, but we intend to finish implementing that sometime this week. As for seeing the match, we have some plans for a way to more directly tell what is happening that we were looking into implementing. Thank you again for commenting on our game! Good luck with the game jam!

- João G Borges

This game was quite fun! I like the mechanic of buffing the troops in between matches, it was quite creative. I'm not sure if it was just me, but it seemed like there wasn't a lose condition in this game. I'd see myself timing out of a level only to progress to the next one and I wasn't sure that was intentional.

- João G Borges

Really fun game! We had a blast strategizing and building our troops. I think if you guys were to develop it further it could make for a very engaging experience. I also really like the presentation of the game; the spinning characters in the selection menu are an especially nice touch.  That being said, I think you swapped the names of the fairy and the elf in the selection menu. I also think we found that the elf might be a tad bit too strong seeing as we managed to beat the game the second time by just spending all our money on the elf (the one named fairy in-game, to be clear).

All-in-all I had a really fun time with this game and would love to see it developed in the future! Good job!

- João G Borges

The game was quite fun and visually interesting. Though it kept me engaged all the way through the end, I think it would benefit a lot from a little more variety so it doesn't get too repetitive. I'm also fairly certain the game doesn't have a loss condition and I think it could benefit from one (unless it does have one and I'm just too good at it :p). Anyway, I had a pretty good time with this, good job and good luck with the game jam!

The game has a great premise and I would play the final version if it ever came out. The time given affected a lot, but it is pretty good what is delivered. The music and sound effects being absent is something that bothers but doesn't make it bad by any means. The progression is slow and sometimes feel unjust with the stats that you're given from the start. The idea behind it is great and the project has a lot of potential, congratulations!

- Rafael

The game is very fun, however, it is very hard also, the controls had a pattern but it got confusing after a while, there are a lot of os ways to fix this, you could have the keys in display all time, or the key could be like perched to the platforms. It also has a very hard and irregular difficulty level, it would benefit from having a separate level dedicated to teaching the new color/ mechanic. It is very fun and engaging tho great work, congratulations on your work!!!

- Rafael

I really liked the idea of this game. I like that it keeps throwing new challenges at us, it gets quite chaotic which I love. I will say the time between new missions could be a tad bit longer, it can be quite a lot when especially when the missions aren't that easy to complete with precision quickly. I also, unfortunately, couldn't make out the voice-over due to it being too low, even at max volume.  Either way, I quite liked the game, good job.

- João G Borges

The game was quite fun! There's a bit of strategy that goes into each level which I appreciate, even though it might have been a bit on the easy side. I also think the idea is pretty cool and could lead to some fun levels in the future if it were developed further.  I must say, I think the presentation could use some work. The different assets having inconsistent pixel sizes were a bit jarring.

I had a very nice time playing this and I'm excited to see if it develops in the future!

- João G Borges

The game looked really pretty, especially the animations. Too bad my PC couldn't run it very well. I felt the game was a bit slow, I wondered around for quite a while with not much happening, but I was overall very impressed with the production value of this game considering the short time frame in which it was developed. Very good job :p

- João G Borges

The game is fun and addicting, but it does get stale tho, the game would benefit if it had a power-up system, or if the game got more difficult, maybe a third and then fourth forge being added. Also, it gets frustrating when you have to wait for a certain piece and it never gets there. Overall the game is very engaging and entertaining, congratulations on the project!!!

- Rafael

I think the idea was quite fun and simple. While I appreciate having a hard-to-control character as being an essential part of the game, the mobility feels excessively limited to the point that there are some targets that become impossible to hit. If that were to be changed, I feel it would go a long way.

- João G Borges

I really liked the concept! I can tell how it could get really chaotic really quickly which is pretty fun. I do think that it takes a little bit to get going, if you were to continue this project I'd recommend making a level selection screen or something of that sort so players don't have to start over after they lose.

Overall I think this was a pretty fun and creative game! Good job!

- João G Borges

I absolutely loved this game! It's so pretty, polished, and fluid. The concept is pretty clever and leads to a very engaging gameplay loop. The VFX, animation, art, and everything in between combine to make a very satisfying game feel. Absolutely awesome!

- João G Borges

The game was a blast to play, it is a great game and very fun to spend the time with. The only criticism I can bring to the table is that the game maybe could use some power-up or something that would change the gameplay from the player's point of view, or instead, a power-up of new bullet types that enemies shoot. The game also has kind of a slippery movement, in the beginning, it was difficult to accustomed to but I realized that it is a great tie-in to the dash mechanic. The music and the sound effect are great and it is very difficult to get tired of them, also the art is amazing. This was the best game the team played so far, congratulations on the project!!
