Loved the art and idea. Maybe it could work as a 2 player game with some additional abilities that allow you to stop opponent's people from cheering or something?
The art is neat ! Nicely choosen sound effects ! Gameplay is simple and effective, but quite a bit repetitive, kinda sad there was no end, but i totally understand how that could be in such a jam ! Well done !
Thank you very much for your comment! We’re glad you enjoyed our game! Yes, we feel if we had managed to add any end-state to the game it would have benefited a lot from it. We’ll learn from this experience any try to manage our time better next time.
Thank you again for your comment and good luck with the jam!

Pretty creative concept! The game got repetitive though after a while, wish there was more content but the theme and art and atmosphere are all great!
Thank you for your feedback! We agree with your concerns about the repetitiveness of the gameplay. We knew the game was gonna suffer from that to some extent since we didn’t have time to implement the variations we intended. This game jam served as a valuable learning experience for us when it comes to due dates and organization and such, seeing as most of us had never participated in something similar before.
We intend to keep working on the game and add some gameplay variety in the near future. Thank you very much for playing our game and for your kind words! We really appreciate it!

Ha very cute, super unique take on the theme. Is that your voice doing the "GOALLLL"?
Graphics are great, and the sound design is very effective. Game is straight forward. Probably wouldve been a nice touch to be able to see the team playing as you cheer them on to add a little more visual flair.
Good entry.
Thank you for your review! That is not us doing the voice-over haha! It is actually a royalty-free asset we used: https://freesound.org/people/alexpadina/sounds/36796/.
As to seeing the game play out, we are looking into ways to convey what is happening in the match to the players to help the game feel better, but we haven't settled on anything yet. Thank you again for your feedback and good luck with the game jam!

One of the most creative concepts I've seen in the jam so far! I enjoyed the quick and erratic gameplay and scooting my mouse left to right and up and down kept me engaged, but I have to admit it was rather easy. The presentation and artistic design really shines through. Overall a great effort, but the game could've benefited from a clear ending (for example when a team reaches 10 points). I'd also change the game so that at the starts some buttons are already clickable and the timers on them are in different stages to get rid of that initial waiting period.
Thank you for your feedback and your kind words! We really appreciate it and we're glad you enjoyed our game!
The balance of the game is something we unfortunately didn't find the time to fine-tune before submitting but we will surely be revisiting that shortly. As to not having a clear ending, that was as well an unfortunate consequence of us mismanaging our time constraints. It was an essential part of the game and we should definitely have prioritized it more. That said, it is also something we intend on adding to the project in the near future.
Thank you again for commenting and good luck with the jam!

Love the presentation of the theme! Nice idea and implementation!
Thank you very much! We're glad you enjoyed it!

I really like this game. The refresh rate of the button really make you sit on the edge of your seat just like if you are in the audience yourself watching a match. I think the balancing of the game is a bit off tho, but just a little. I also noticed that some of the buttons didm't react when clicked. Overall a really unique and fun take on the theme!
Thank you for playing and leaving a comment! I agree the balance is off. The reality is that it'll be different for each player because each person in the crowd gets assigned a random team when the match scene is loaded. This was made this way because we intend to expand the game and make it so you can get items and power-ups in a shop in-between matches that can increase your chances of having more people on your side than your opponent. That said, this mechanic of randomizing each person isn't great for the balance lol :p
Also, if it's not too much to ask, can you tell me which buttons you are referring to? Do you mean the mute button? If so, we are aware of the mute not working. Otherwise, I'd like to know which buttons you mean. Either way, we will be looking into it.
Thank you again for playing our game! We're all very grateful!

It was the mute, but also some of the cheer buttons didn't respond from time to time, but that could've been because of the screen size.
So unique! I liked frantically clicking the cheer buttons as they appeared. I did have a small problem with the screen size, as a couple of the cheers were just barely reachable on the screen so I couldn't see them well. This might be due to my screen size but not sure. Also, progress felt really slow and it felt like I was barely inching forward on that bar. But once I filled the whole bar, nothing happened! Some sort of win screen could make it much more satisfying to play. But overall I really like the idea and it was really nice for 48 hours!
Thank you for playing our game! We are aware of this problem with some of the cheers being partially off-screen and it isn’t anything particular with your screen size, it’s currently built into the game and it’s something we plan on fixing very soon. We also agree with you the game needs some balancing and a win or a loss condition. These were things we unfortunately couldn’t get to due to the time constraints.
Thank you for taking an interest and leaving a review! We really appreciate it.

A really nice art and ambiance sounds! Couldn't win or lose the game, but my team was winning 12-0 and I felt good, since my real team lost this weekend :'(
Maybe a good addition would be change the color of the clicker icon to have more contrast on the pink shirt
Thanks for the reply! Yes, an end condition was unfortunately left out due to our time running out, but it’s something we plan to look into to. Also, thank you for your suggestions with the contrast, I tried for a while to make that button pop but this light pink can make that a little difficult with a lot of colors, so I think I’ll test some new things soon.
Thanks you again for playing our game!

Hi! We think the mute button on the music was not working. It alongside the goal cheer was quite loud through the speakers. We enjoyed the art and graphics of the game. We got the pink bar all the way to the right but did not appear to win the game so we kept cheering for a while :). It was fun! Would be cool to see the football match going on in a mirror or something haha!
Hi! Thank you for commenting! Yes, we found this mute glitch a little while ago, not sure what happened there since the mute was working just fine in the editor but we'll look into it. I'm glad you enjoyed our simple clicking game! Unfortunately, we didn't manage to finish the win and loss-conditions in time for the jam, but we intend to finish implementing that sometime this week. As for seeing the match, we have some plans for a way to more directly tell what is happening that we were looking into implementing. Thank you again for commenting on our game! Good luck with the game jam!

Good job with all of the art! Also, the timing on the clicking was perfect, I felt no downtime between accumulating points. If you were to continue this further I'd suggest an end state to the game, but great work regardless!
Thank you for your review! Yes, an end state was absolutely planned, and had we had a little while longer it would have been implemented to some capacity. We intend to polish the game up a bit and add some gameplay variety in the near future. We're glad you enjoyed it!

This is a pretty funny well-made game, and has a good presentation! The art is quite cute. However, the gameplay got quite boring after a while. I was expecting something to happen as I accumulated points but 10 minutes went by and I realized I was still doing the same combination of clicking on cheer people and nothing interesting was happening. That said, this is probably a result of the short timeframe you have to submit to this game jam!
I could see this being a good mobile game to play for comfort if it is polished up a bit more and some additional gameplay variety is added. It could also benefit from more feedback from clicking on the cheer people. For example, they could change their stance or cheer louder. Again, this probably would've been a thing had the timeframe been longer.
Overall, good entry, and good luck on the jam!
Thank you very much for your review! Yes, the gameplay variety was definitely lacking in this version of the game, it is unfortunate we couldn't get to that in time, I think it would have gone a long way. Thank you for your comment on our cheer feedback, we were actually about to add a sound effect to the clicks when we realized we were running out of time. A separate stance for a louder cheer is a pretty cool idea too, we'll definitely look into it. Thank you again for your feedback!
