Well that was creepy! And one of the first times I've played a GWJ game all the way through on the first attempt!

Got ending 3/3 and encountered the same bug as Wekepepew I think. Also solved the bug in the same way!

Submitted

Congrats on submitting!

I got ending 3/3

I encountered some bugs, but most would be gone after leaving and entering the house.

Nice work getting a story in with multiple endings! Good work!

Fantastic story telling, we run into a few bugs trying to speed run the game, if you leave the house before talking to the master at the beginning the materials (mushroom etc) won't spawn, but it's a game jam game, these things are suppose to happen haha!
Overall a fantastic submission, I  thought the controls where spot on and the character movement made it really easy to play through.
We only unlocked ending 3/3 but would love to see the other ones in later play throughs.

Very nice, so much story. And works well with the theme, well done!

Nice little experience there. The fundamentals here are all rock solid - controls, connections, I presume areas, etc. Other than that bundle bug, this was a great first submission. Keep up the good work!

Nice game. Doesnt take too long to complete.
The only thing i noticed, that whenn i gathered the bundel i had to leave the house and go in again, that the "bundel scene " played. Maybe i did something wrong.
And good youse of the Dialogic Addon :) , we also used it in our game.

Good job, and keep up the great work

a very lovely jam game, beautifully executed! this was fun and i really enjoyed the writing! well done.

got ending 2/3.

i got ending 2/3!

great writing, I really enjoyed the experience!

I only found a few bugs around the dialogic, with text overlapping if you keep pressing F and the master not letting you put the kindling on the fire until you go out and back into the house.

all in all, fantastic job!

This game is fun, really! But I've already tired on writing comments, good luck with your game!

Very, very cute! I like the drawn trees, they have some vibe to it. And you branch out the story which is a very neat thing.

One thing that bugged me a bit is that you have to click the "Yes" button in order to enter the door - I already want to do that so no need to confirm, maybe better just show a text above player's head saying "Enter door?" or maybe "Leave house?" and then just do that on the input.

Cute game, couldn't figure out how to put wood in. I picked up the 3 bundles but it still said I needed 3...

Congrats on getting it done ! I saw that it is you first successful submission made, you did it !

Some general notes (mostly things that you could have done if you ahd more time^^) :

- UI to track components would have been nice

- Story is fun and not too heavy

- Lack of a mechanic hook for me at least

- Pixel art is kinda all over the place style-wise with the different assets

- You pass on the house roof not behind

- I can see the BG color when hugging the tree limit on the right

Good job !

Great game! short and sweet with nice BGMs, the writing was fun to read.

There are bugs here and there but it's understandable considering the short timeframe.

Had a grand time trying out this short little game!

The writing here was pretty enjoyable, short, and still got a lot of information across quickly.

I did seem to run into a bug with the bundle of sticks not registering when I interacted with the cauldron. I left the house then came back and stood in a different spot, and it worked.

Nice job on your first game jam submission!

Nice focus on the story, it’s short enough to encourage trying to get the different endings.

I just think that it was quite hard to find the moss, since it’s contrast is not very different from the ground, maybe adjusting that would be nice :).

Congratulations on the submission!

It's a very interesting game. It looks crude but kind of charming. I like it.

Also, I tried to get another ending but if you went to the Main Menu and played again, the picked up items are gone. Not a terribly awful thing though.

Submitted

lol, got the second ending. I dig the story!

Submitted

It's a good game! I got the bad ending for the poor assistant, but that's my fault for being curious lol

Nice game! The art is simple but it looks cute and the music is fitting so well. Also, I got the 3rd ending :D
I found a little bug when I tried to do the other two endings, the items don't spawn again so you can't do the other endings unless u refresh the page.
But overall I had fun! I only wish it was longer!
