It was fun to try to stay little and avoid all those clouds. :)

I'm not sure about the theme presence though. Is it because the character can shrink ?

A simple, short game that still manages to be rather challenging. It does seem to have an issue with its collision sizes, however, as getting close to, but not actually touching the upper or lower barriers causes you to lose. The graphics and music are nice, though, and I had fun playing this.

Very cool game !

Nice little game!
Smoother movement would feel nice!

Really fun game! I thought the mechanic of the player getting bigger and therefore easier to get hit was cool. The line Papa Cloud is dead had me laughing my A-- off! Great game!

Nice game! I like the color palette & music. The game is a nice chill experience. One issue I encountered was the collisions sizes seemed a bit off. It was hard to tell when I was too close to the barrier.

I really like the main mechanic for the game. The sprite work is very charming and I enjoyed my time playing. One little thing, I would have liked to have been able to press a key rather than going for the mouse to try again, just to keep the game flow going. Great job!

Fun game but i feel the hitboxes are extremely big, overall a good entry and a good game

This game is tough!  I could only make it for a short time.  Fun concept though - nicely done.

The cloud is so cute. I appreciate the simplicity of the controls. The bold pixel art and big sprites are great. I wish the pixels were all the same scale and that the trail effect was also done with pixels. The color palette is very easy on the eyes.

Developer

Thanks! I agree on the scaling, as well as the trail effect. I added that in mostly as a place holder for adding in pixels and never went back to it. Ran out of time and wish I could change it and call it a bug fix T_T. After the rating period I'll definitely add in all the things people suggested to make the game better!

Nice work! It's a cool idea for the game and the story is whacky and creative. I like it. It's pretty hard though. That's not a bad thing but I think the collision boxes could be smaller so that it feels more fair.

Fun little arcade game, I wish there was more of an intro or main menu and once you start growing in size it becomes really easy to get stuck in a loop of constantly being hit. Otherwise it was a fun little experience!

Okay, this was a lot of fun! I was not ready for second stage, but was able to push through and finish. I like how technically it becomes easier over time as long as you're getting smaller, but realistically most runs tend to snowball into catastrophe. XD The final boss was really fun and it's design reminded me of the Old North Wind from Over the Garden Wall.

Very cool and unique idea.

The second stage felt very difficult compared to the rest of the game, but glad I pushed through.

Love the character designs for both of the boss fights!

Thanks! Once I'm back from thanksgiving I plan on fixing the boss fights to at least add the animation change. Looking at your game I'm a bit sad I didn't add something for the bullets to make it feel like you're shooting, like weight. You do a really great job of that in your game. Appreciate the feedback and comment!

I love the aesthetic of the game, and playing as a cloud is really cool trying to shrink and evade the storm. I found that the diffculty of the second level ramp up a bit too much as I could have seen more minutes gone playing just flying around. The main mechanic work really well and never feel unfair when you grow too big, the cloud floor and ceiling maybe are a bit too harsh not giving enough manouver. The story is really cool and other the first diffculty spike it's all well paced!

Developer

Thanks! I agree with you about the difficulty. I did not have enough time to fine-tune the difficulty, especially with the second level. It does spike a little too much from the first to the second. I know for the next run I'll have to test it with friends before I throw my hands up and say good enough!  I also wanted to add in an HP bar to better gauge the objective and did not give myself enough time to add that in either.

Appreciate the feedback!

Interesting that it almost gets easier as you play more and the cloud shrinks. Big fan of the orange and white color scheme definitely makes this game unique, and something about storm clouds on Jupiter is really cool, reminds me of that big red storm that's on Jupiter irl. Easily repayable, definitely put a good handful of runs in. Great job!

Nice concept so my idea to add up is that how the cloud become smaller all the time maybe because it is raining? so it get smaller and smaller.

Developer

Thanks! As my first project I learned a lot, and I did have multiple ideas for it.  I'll go back and for practice sake Ill try and implement that rain idea!
