Honestly really well made! I was surprised to saw and stain the wood I actually had to drag my mouse across, which is cool but only after I figured it out haha.

Solid for 48 hours! Not sure if the echo jump was buggy or if I just wasn't great with it (I'm using a trackpad rn)

I think with some adjustment to the mechanics you could be flying through the levels with some practice which I think would be really cool.

Thanks for the comprehensive feedback! The theme from what people are saying seems to be the overall concept is good, it's mostly in the execution. Some balancing around the enemies, some more depth beyond just a high score, and obviously the visual elements could be more thoughtfully implemented. I literally just dragged and dropped in some screenshots haha. If I've ever got the time I think this is the game I'd try to improve upon from all my past game jam games.

I agree, I definitely intended it as just getting my idea into some usable form, and yes it is basically just asteroids haha. To be honest you can't die simply because I didn't have the time.

There's definitely a ton of tuning that needs to be done, glad you liked the core idea though!

Thanks!

Thank you! My background in the technical aspect isn't that strong so I thought I could make up for it with a decent visual theme at least!

Thank you!

Awesome dungeon crawler! The character animations were simple but satisfying, and I loved how many different things had randomness/dice implemented in! The only issue was the lack of visual/auditory feedback on hitting enemies, as well as what some of the enemies do.

A dice game without that much randomness? Crazy! I really liked how the dice changed size based on their size, it made the little gaps in levels interesting! The lasers pointed at the player were kind of confusing, my assumption is that they're so you know where the enemies are. Nice idea if that is the case. Great work!

Great approach on rigged dice, I ended up getting rather good at scrambling to read the emotions of my opponents. Excellent work!

Thanks for the kind words and feedback! Glad you found it fun!

A fun randomness based game, I wish there was a little more in the mechanics to make things more controllable but I have a soft spot for physics based games. Great job!

This game is visually incredible, but the gameplay could definitely use some work. I really like the idea, but the execution is rather unpolished. If there was a more subtle way to detect the cheaters beyond the inconsistent red flash it would definitely make this game much more interesting.

Very creative art and concept! Although the dice rolling animation could have been better, the flipping from tile to tile was quite satisfying. I really like the idea of having the number you roll as both the number of attacks and number of tiles you can move! Great job!

I loved this take on "rigging dice", and while I took a more straightforward approach I thought this was a brilliant way of nudging the odds in your favor without making it too easy. Loved the crowd in the background as well :D

I really like the idea of "controlled" randomness, and this was a great take on that! While the small stuff definitely needs some polish, this is a great game!

It seems I wasn't the only one who wanted to mess with dice physics! I really like your take as well, definitely a higher skill ceiling!

A very solid and polished game! I liked the little video explanation of making randomness more fair, as well as the extra thought that was put into the numbers behind the game!

Very compelling idea, I've seen a couple games that used each side of the die as a tool, but this one seems to have the most potential. With some polish I think this could be a great puzzle game!

This is a brilliant take! Everything fits together so cohesively, and I loved the idea! Amazing!

Thanks!

Thank you! Glad you liked it!

I'm glad the extra time I spent getting the chips to work was worth it :D

That's exactly what I had in mind! It feels like the concept could definitely be pushed slightly farther to be super replayable!

I really liked the daddy dice. I think I also have a daddy dice in my head when I go to the casino. Well done!

Interesting take on the theme, I guess dice do have 6 sides. The animations were very smooth and I really enjoyed the euphoric feeling of getting a 50/50 right!

While confusing at first, I really enjoyed the frantic gameplay! Music was awesome.

Thank you!

While I'm not big on fishing in games this was pretty fun! I really liked the art and audio, very well done!

Thanks! That was exactly my intention!

Thank you! The physical chips were a detail I had to made sure to include :)

I took me a second to figure out everything, but I really like the premise of cheating with the dice (I did something similar). It was a bit buggy but the art was very well made and with some quick bug fixes would be a solid polished game!

Unfortunately I could not figure out why nothing appeared to be working. The custom art was pretty cool and I liked the idea. Hope to figure it out later at some point!

The beginning was not as fun, but I enjoyed it much more as I progressed through the levels. The levels were ok and the art was not bad. I personally liked the movement, the distance on the dash and jumps were slightly too far but I really liked moving around and speeding through the level. Great work!

Yeah I've been getting a lot feedback about the initial confusion, difficulty curve, and visual clarity, so good to hear another perspective. Glad you enjoyed playing!

While I was initially super confused, after coming back to it and figuring out that I could jump, this is really really clever! The concept has so many applications, and the little bits of text seem to tie together a narrative as well as give hints to the player on what they need to do. The last level is definitely way harder than everything else, and I mostly attribute this to the fact that it required a kind of clunky jump while the gravity was reversed (I'm not used to jump being bound right below the wasd keys). With some more tuning on the level design and polish in terms of sound and animation, this is a great puzzle game that really messes with your head, great job!

This is really cool, I had a ton of fun! This could totally be polished up with some more animations and levels and be a full game! I love how the two orbs switch sides halfway through it totally threw me off of the controls for a second. The use of the purple walls was genius, particularly since it played with the main mechanic of the two orbs being connected. My only criticism was the initial confusion I faced early on where I didn't realize the lightning bolts reconnected the orbs and I was wondering why they were messing with my speed as I passed through them. Other than this, amazing job!

The overall concept is very cool, and pretty well implemented/showcased in all the levels. The music and art go together very well, love the spooky vibe. I think some visual clarity with the platforms could have helped, I was a bit confused about certain walls/floors as they were all the same color. Picking the orbs up/dropping them was also a bit finicky, but again these are all nitpicks and this was made in just a couple days. Given that fact, this was very cool and I hope you polish it up into something amazing in the future! Awesome job!
