Really great art! Other commenters have pointed out most of the small issues I had with the game already. Great work!
Really liked the simple art style you went for with the visuals and characters. For gameplay, it could be more clear with navigation since I was unsure of how far away everything was and getting back home, but the audio helped out with it being near your home.
thanks!
Congrats, it was short and enjoyable. Really like the art.
thank you
The art is gorgeous, it is simple yet very distinct. Cozy vibes, for sure, also with the music. I felt that gameplay wise, it could have been a bit more clear what things are supposed to be and I found it difficult to navigate since most areas looked very similar. But as an overall experience, I enjoyed it - good job!
Love the art on this. I just recently played Turnip boy commits tax evasion and I know that is pixel art but this reminds me of that in character design, concept and control. It's so cute, i love leafy :) .
Maybe the camera would benefit from being zoomed out a bit more to see more of the screen, I feel like while exploring big portions of the screen are just all green with grass but no discernable shapes, NPCS. There are some odd collision moments with the UI(to do list and right UI squares) overlapping some parts of the environment and vice versa. There was a section around the mailbox that seemed to make leafy disappear and the bottom inventory box but I could still control him, just a minor visual bug but also might just be my computer. I think it also would be nice to have some prompts appear on screen when you pick up the items like the letter, maybe have a similarly designed window appear that says "I found invitations! I should find a mailbox."
Overall, really cozy and I love it, great job
I've also played turnip boy, it wasn't really an inspiration for the main character but the resemblance is funny, also really liked your ideas, maybe I add them for an update
It was fun walking around and completing the quests. The music and art are really good and give cozy vibes. You did a great job!
thank you
Pleasant soundtrack that got me into a cozy mood. The audio balancing was a little weird, but I did like how you could use positional sound to find your way home if you got lost. I think the effect just needs to be a little less intense. Like continue to play some sound in the left earphone, but more in the right when the house is to your right. Sorry, I'm not sure what you call that.
Very cute little game!
I thought my earphones didn't work at first but turns out the music just goes along where the player is not heading XD -Hon
thank you, i didn't notice the music problem until I uploaded it
Cute and simple, easy to figure out once the game starts.
thanks!
thanks, I noticed the music problem but didn't found out how to fix it
Simple design but works well, I could easily imagine something bigger with this cute art style, and it was definitely cozy!
thank you
Very cute game! As Iggy pointed out it would be better if there were more clearly defined tasks instead of wandering around randomly but what it's worth it's a nice lil' bite-sized adventure.
thanks
A really charming experience, I just do wish that there was some way to communicate what you need to do. While I found everything out on my own, I felt a bit alienated by the lack of direction
sorry for that, I didn't think much about the tasks
