Hey) Glad that you liked it. The game was made under two days for the "KennyGameJam2024". The engine was Unity <3

Nice idea and realization, love the animations. The bot is too skilled for my liking XD. Great game!

Hello there) Nice game for two days jam. With some time spent balancing and expanding earn/spend mechanic, it can be an excellent game. Will check it out after Jam ends and the new build arrives. Good luck <3

Thanks for playing it) Yeah, two days is a harsh deadline. We will upload a fixed version after the Jam ends <3

Hello) Glad that you wrote a comment. We were in a rush and pushed build at the end of the Jam) We renamed the file in Unity just before build that's why:

--- To start the game---

Rename "TheGreatestComposer" exe file to "KennyGameJam2024". After that open the game exe and it should work like a charm!

After the Jam completion, we will fix the downloadable build and upload the Web version of the game :)

To run the game

--- Important Note From Developers---

Rename "TheGreatestComposer"  exe file to "KennyGameJam2024".  After that open the game exe and it should work.

Hey, all) Looking for a team for this jam.

What your skills have: I'm a game designer with experience in Unity engine and C# coding.

What skills you expect from your team member(s): I want to join an existing team or create a new one, ideal team for me would be: a developer, designer, and sound designer.

What previous game(s) or game jam(s) you've participated in: I've attended GDTV Game Jam 2024, the game can be found in my profile.

What game engine or language you prefer using: Unity, C#

I'm from European time zone, if you want to create some interesting project, ping me in Discord: @yiva2

Good luck all!

Update: The team consists of:
1 Game Designer
2 Unity 3d developers
1 Sound designer

Great art and it's really fun to play. love the bumping mechanic to steal fruits <3

For one-day development -  it's great and has good potential in the puzzle genre if expands the game with different enemies and hiding mechanics. Good one!

Nice idea, but requires a lot of polishing, you can just spam chess pieces and win all the time) Good job here!

Made it to wave 9! Great game, but lacks balancing, agree with the comments below, it's hard to purchase upgrades in the later stages, also I would rework the "Closest enemy"/ "Highest hp enemy" targeting, as for me it doesn't have much sense here, better to make archers/ wizards different enough and give the player ability to chose their targets. But overall very nice game!

Nice game, love the upgrades and progression. See the same issue as we had in our game during development is to make enemies jump from one platform to another, at the end of your game most of the enemies just sink at the bottom)

I see a huge amount of effort was put into this game, great job guys. Love the style/ story and dungeon-moving mechanic. Combat rooms are a bit boring for me, but with some polishing, this game can glow for sure. High rating from me <3

Nice turn base game, love the style and music. Wish to have more differences between the heroes cause for now 1 damage and 1 healer are enough to finish)

Glad you liked it <3

hehe, we used "Celeste" keyboard mapping for this game, but I agree that it's a bit tricky to get used to controls) Thanks for the review <3

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, it was mainly done for strategic thinking and to prevent the player from spamming the skill anytime/ anywhere :)

What an experience!!! Firstly thought that it would be a simple and boring game but when the first meteor ricocheted from the second one and then the third one, there was a click! Nice job you guys! Also, the idea of making it competitive makes it even better)

Well-made simulator) Would be great to prep a couple of hot dogs at the same time. Good job <3

Well done game, would like some other shapes to play but other than that it's nicely done!

With WebGL build this game would have much more attention)
Love such games, puzzles in the pixel-art platforming world are something beautiful. Love the main mechanic but found that you can jump vertically and just replace the block underneath you higher each time) So it needs a lot of polishing. But with a nice level design + controls and character physics, it would be a nice little game for a jam. Good job here!

Heh, such a great idea for jam theme) Love it, and nice job <3

Great job, love the battle mechanic and overall game feel. For a single dev, it's one of the best here <3

One of the best games that I've played on this jam. Simple but great idea, style, and music just feats here. All 5 stars for me :)

Yeah, it's a bit nicer on a controller) Thanks for the review!

aahahhahahha thanks a lot <3

Yeah a bit too hard hahaha) Thanks for the feedback <3

Hehe, I also love dying animation, it's actually a possession by Lykho)

Thanks a lot <3

Such a nice art! It's a bit lacking mechanics, but overall great job!

Like the style! Well done <3

Thank you!! It was quite a challenge to make a survival game in the platformer genre, glad you've enjoyed <3

Thanks for the extensive feedback, we are glad that you've enjoyed it <3

Hehe, we actually thought about it during development but decided to stick with only one mechanic, thanks for the comment <3 Defend the Khukhas!

Thanks a lot <3

Yeap) We only had pixel artists, so all other art is generated. We should use all technologies to make the game) Thanks for the comment <3

They are <3

Thanks for a nice feedback <3 Pitty that you didn't try the second level, I personally like it's "threes on fire" mechanic)
