Yes, I missed to write that part, is the free version

True, I tried a few things for that part in 1:00, EQ, Compression and more. But it ended too thin or too loud. Now that you mentioned, I though it was the middle frequencies, but it is actually the low ones. I will try a few changes.

Thanks for the feedback!

Oh, I didn't see this community board until now. Possibly is the same for a lot of people, you could have a little more of participation or volunteers to share their profiles on the Discord Server for this Jam (First asking to the server owner for permission to do a post in it, just in case.)

Mine is mainly Youtube right now: https://www.youtube.com/@xafae3371

I was looking in expand to other means too, I had a Soundcloud, but I got a little tired of the comments by bots.

I would change the panning on the percusion. Make the bongos play between the left and right channels as a ping pong; and the others percussion being in different pannings too. The bass is clipping a little, that means is too loud, try to EQ the low frequencies of the others intruments to give the bass its own space and lower lts volume. Finally, the reverb and delay on the melody is taking too much space, I would lower the volume of it too.

Beyond that, it is a good song.

I recommend to play a little with panning. Everything feels like is cramped in one space. The shaker is taking all the attention, I would lower it and move it to the right or make a ping pong between left and right each time it plays.

Is just suggestions, is good as a background song and I like you tried to give some ambience with the sound of people and the beep of a register

The trumpet is too loud in certain points. I would lower the volume a little and compress the high ends of it

Overall is a good song, relaxing and happy

I hear what you mean, a disadvantage of BBC Symphony Orhchestra is I can't change the attack, velocity or anything really. Regardless, I think I know a workaround for it.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks! Glad you liked it!

It is good. I can see it for a more dungeon crawling game. I must say the contrabass from beginning to end is a little too loud and taking all the attention. Maybe lowering its volume a little bit and bringing the others up could help.

True, I had no idea how to make a loop in the end and just ended with a very basic pattern. Thanks for the feedback!

Right, after hearing the piano and middle it a few times I can see what you mean. Thanks for the feedback!

I hear what you mean. I will experiment with a few things. Thanks!

Oh, can you give me some examples songs? I would like to learn more about this style :D

Very good. The organ is taking too much space, lowering its volume a little and maybe some EQ in the middle range could make the all mix more clear.

Interesting song. The one thing is the snare in 0:28 sounds too harsh and loud, I would lower the volume and compress it a little.

I see it like a good song for a 8-bit version of the game. The only thing I would change be in 0:48 when the Hit-hat is going constantly, you could lower the volume a little bit. Being more like a noise, it begins to overlap with the others intruments and makes them slightly muddy.

Pretty good. I reccomend to pan the Hit-hat and snares more to the left or right to give more space to the others instruments.

Good song! In the minute 0:46 I would say to lower the volume or use a litte of compression for the distorted chords. It gets too strong that it begins to overlap with the others intruments, making them hard to listen.

Just suggestion, is a solid song!

I like it. If you can pan the close hit-hat a little more to left or right. Same with the leads synths, sometimes they are lost in the mix. Try to use EQ to cut or lower frequencies where they are not needed. For example, Hit-hats and Cymbals don't need a lot of low frequencies and leads are usually in the middle range.

Beyond that is a solid song.

Overall, a pretty good and solid song. I must say the kick drum is a little too strong in the high ends, it makes it punchy but a little painful when hearing for a long time.
