How does your game fit the theme?
The only objective is going through the door with the difficulty being that is closed.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code, level design, art, music and sfx have been made by me from scratch within the jam duration.

It’s very challenging and very fun. I especially like the cute graphics and music.

Fun concept, but the floaty controls made things very difficult. Good job overall though.

This is a fun precision platformer. The weight of the key makes for a fun added challenge. The player movement was very fast and made the difficulty pretty high. Congrats on get all the code, visuals and audio done within the jam time!

Very interesting concept! I really enjoyed the physics of the key, that's a really good idea! The graphics are nice, and I appreciate the work done on the audio: the music is fitting and the little impact sounds for the key is a really nice touch (just a little bit too high-pitched for my liking ^^'). The different mechanics are great, and catching the key mid-air feels awesome!

However, all these awesome ideas are dragged down by the main problem of this game: the character has infinite acceleration and way, way too high terminal velocity, making it a PAIN to control, especially when the level design asks you to be precise. Honestly, grabbing the key felt like an upgrade.

Put the "key-grab" speed as the base speed, adjust the level design accordingly and you have a real banger. The potential is there, this game just needs a little bit of fine-tuning ^^.

Cool game. I really like the song and sound effects used on the game. The gameplay is fun and the level design is well crafted. I hope there's some dead effects or particle or something to let player know that the character's dead tho. With character that small sometimes it's hard to tell where the character is.

Pretty fun game. I loved the sound design. The only issue I had was the player movement speed was super fast and in one click you could throw yourself off a platform or into a spike. For your first Godot game though you did a great job. Can't wait to see what more you create!

Interesting mechanism with the key. I liked the puzzle part.. The level design could be improve, it's hard and too fast, you should begin very simple and increase difficulty step by step. Using air control to avoid and go on the platform on top of you is not an easy jump or jumping and use "down" key to get the key in the air (would be easier if you just have to touch the key to collect it), also the pike hitbox is smaller than the visuel. I've reach the first bonus level and surrend there.

Controls are tough, the platforms are so tiny.  It'd probably suite people who like a difficult platforming challenge.  Art, audio, etc are decent.

Very interesting game! An excellent platformer with nice visuals and cool design solutions! Great job on the jam!

Ooh, this was a tough game. Made it to Optional-2 before packing it in.

Very good stuff!

I didn't expect to find a little cube so cute. It was a-door-able (probably not the last time I'm going to make that pun this jam).

Overall great work. Really nice little puzzle platform game. Like others said, I too found the controls a little unforgiving (especially with some of the jumps being so precise). But I did enjoy the challenge. I did feel like a genius when I realized I could drop the key and get past those spikes. Nice work.

Cheers. Good luck with the jam. One of my favs so far.

This is really fun and I like the key making you heavier concept. The bonus levels are insanely hard lol, I made it to the 2nd bonus.

I love difficult platformers, but I think making the character accelerate a bit slower would help make it feel a little more fair with how precise the jumps are. Nice work I had a fun time playing it!

The level design was simple but very challenging and creative, I liked a lot! The acceleration is very fast, which makes it much more difficult, but the quick stop makes it not impossible. I could get the sense of getting better on each try!

In my opinion, you move to fast without a key and my big dumb brain can't beat level flipping 2. Still good for your first game. Impressive that you made everything by yourself.

It was great but as everyone is saying that controls are really too difficult. All in all, game design and theme is quite well considered in game.

Too difficult for me but The key physics is fun.

It was a bit too difficult, I would've made the jumps where you had to be precise a bit easier

The level design is amazing though

Maybe consider adding a "skip level" after you lose 10 times or something, or some kind of hints

Thanks for playing. I'm glad you liked the level design.

About the difficulty: I wanted to make a challenging platformer but yeah maybe I made it a bit too hard. Fun fact: The challenge levels were the first levels I designed and when I sent it to a friend it was way too hard so I decided to make them optional challenges. Also the skip level option after a few attempts is a nice idea, maybe I'll add it after the voting period ends.

It was very fun! However, i got stuck in the second level

Thanks for playing my game!

btw, did you get stuck because it was too hard or because you didn't knew what to do?
