Thanks for the encouragement and feedback! I plan to make a few updates to this game and I'll take the horizontal consideration into the next version. I'll see you in a future jam!

Neat! I had a hard time playing the browser version. But very fun little experience here.

The ascend and descend feature was a nice touch! There were some feedback things that had me confused such as when I was taking damage, but overall a fun experience to play through. Great job

Loved the hand drawn assets and ui elements. I thought the game itself was a bit too difficult for me to get the hang of and I wasn't sure what the different colored tiles represented at first. For example I found myself avoiding the clear tiles for my first 5-10 attempts at level 1 until I realized I could move through them. I enjoyed the dash mechanic though, just hard to control with directional movement for me. Overall, incredible first submission.

Very well polished game! Impressive system designs and it was a fun short experience. I was expecting a more relaxing experience and even though the time was generous to snap a picture for a request I found myself stressed I'd miss a request due to an creature not being around during that time of day.

The art in this game was a highlight! I couldn't get the other spells to work which was a shame because I was excited to see how they'd look and interact with the enemies. Otherwise I felt the challenge was pretty well balanced. Great work guys!

I appreciated the humor throughout the game, although I would have also liked some true hints towards the location of the sword. I found myself running low on patience and eventually cornered by two skulls. Needless to say, I did not get the sword. I liked the art in the game and the overall tie in to the theme of the jam though!

Very nice! I got stuck once I collected the flute and the key and kept ending up back at the forest. Otherwise loved the art and the visual storytelling.

Great art and fun getting to see my knights converse around the table. Could be interesting to explore a couple more mechanics such as money, war, decisions etc. Also, some background music & sfx while I recruit! Great work :)

My feedback has already been stated in other comments, but the most fun I had was riding the bats. I think that could be an interesting mechanic to explore! Great work on the first submission!

Nice work! I enjoyed switching between characters once I had a feel for what dwarf could do what. There are some UI challenges at play here and while it is nice to see all of your dwarves hp totals, I kind of wish I just had the health indicator for the dwarf I was currently playing as. Some design solutions to be explored if you plan to work on this cool idea further. Overall great work! I had fun.

Thanks! I agree. I ran out of time before figuring out audio, but I'll implement that soon. I appreciate the feedback!

Thank you!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback, I plan to implement these suggestions into an update for the game!

It's an addictive frog game. Well done! One bit of feedback would be to make the arrows more visible. Especially when moving through another enemy.

Very fun! Loved the soundtrack and art. I wanted to be able to heal my poor nakki haha

Way to go! Super fun, loved the variety in enemy types and the difficulty curve felt just right as you progressed.

This was a fun playthrough! The sound fx had me cracking up at the end and I really enjoyed the art & double jump.

This was a great jam submission, good work! I think a couple more levels or added variety to the sports would have really pushed the project to the next level, but I had fun. Solid concept and well put together!

Great storytelling. Ominous music fit the game well! Some of the more fun moments from my time with the game was the forest run with the foot trying to smash me and I thought the lumberjack choosing paths puzzle was very clever game design as I could place wood to indicate the correct path. Then I found myself getting stuck at this puzzle and I wasn't sure if that was the intended use of the log placement mechanic. I liked the simple but clean and communicative animations in the game. Good work, thanks for sharing this project!

Thank you for playing and for the kind words Jeremy!

Thank you for playing! This is great feedback. I agree, and I'll look to implement these changes in a future update to the game!

Stopped by to play after watching the YT video. Fun story, good balance, overall really enjoyed. Great work guys!

Loved = Art, Setting, Theme, Story, Music

Could Improve = Settings menu for sound, repetitive game loop after day 3

Great work! I had a lot of fun with this prototype and it was a really cool game. I've been to Malaysia and appreciated the apartment flat, it looked like one straight from Kajang!

Nice work! Loved the art and assets used. I felt like I kept getting unlucky with the rock spawns in the game and died a lot in places that didn't seem too fair. Overall great stuff!

Awesome work! It was very hard for me to figure out the L shape and I gave up after 10 or so deaths. This was such a cool concept though and loved the assets!

Thank you for the feedback wonderful human! We totally agree and this will be in our next update version 1.1 coming soon. Thanks for playing and for the comment!

Wow! Thanks so much for the incredible feedback and encouragement. We will keep working on this game and update here when version 1.1 is ready!

Thanks Onnox! Loved your game!

Thank you!! We will be releasing another update to the game shortly. Sound is a must! Thanks for playing

Thanks for playing, update coming soon. Your game was DOG gone awesome btw

Great work on the sound and animations. Wall climbing was cool, didn't know I could do that for the longest time. The game felt a little slow and I wished my character was faster. I found three potions and returned back to the beginning only to realize that I must have not collected the right colors or something so I quit. Great work on your first jam though definitely a great game for your first!

This was a really well done game! The combat was difficult and I felt powerless against even the skeleton creatures. however, I guess that fits the story which was quite cool! I wish I could have speed up the text in the beginning. Otherwise a fun experience thanks guys!

Great to see these 3D games in the jam! Pretty fun and liked the way the targets came into view I thought that was quite cool.

Loved the music! Great work on these mechanics and animations too.

Great music!

Loved the art and music. Player felt smooth to control and found myself making him dance to the music more than worry about the crabs. I found the end screen and music to be very funny. Need a bit more gameplay but good start!

A fun little adventure game to play through! I thought the time traveling and storytelling was very good. Great music and artwork to expand on an awesome story. Good stuff!

Much respect for the storytelling at play here in this game. So cool to see how you brought this story to life using great pixel art and sound effects.

Super cool game. I like that the puzzles actually took me a while to figure out. I finished the game with only seconds to spare which was quite fun and overall nicely balanced for a new player! I would have liked the attack key to be another button because I found it hard to move and attack. Otherwise, such a fun take on the jam. The GHOST effects were soooo SPOOKY and cool
