post bugs here:
what i know:

♦cursed hyper crystal sometimes deleting walls when it dies

♦instant reload on throne2 sometimes(should be fixed?)

♦background portal durring the throne 2 fight is "off"

♦if 2 players enter seperate portals the game will softlock, (disabling /portals BEFORE the portals spawn will avoid this, only an issue in 2-2) (should be fixed in b15, let me know if it broke anything)

So I'm trying to download the mod, I got NTT without a hitch and I might just be stupid but I cant figure out what extracting the archive means.

you download a zip file here. use a file extractor (i think windows even comes with one now[try rightclicking it]) and put the hardmode folder inside the mods folder that came with NTT

Multiplayer mode- When opening up ammo boxes, 4 mini ammo boxes spawn- 2 for each player. if one player opens an ammo box while the other player is far away, the 2 remaining mini ammo boxes begin bouncing off of the walls attempting to get to the other player.

Multiplayer- if players enter different portals, game refuses to continue.

Unknown if bug or intended behavior (no screenshot)- Cursed crystal caves boss will spawn in walls (no-clipping without destroying any walls) and circle players before actually spawning

the multiplayer chests are an option listed under the "/options" command
the 2 portals issue is known but im not sure how to fix yet (i am truely sorry for your lost run)
the cursed hyper crystal can teleport and sometimes get outside the level or in a wall. give it time or back away and it will return

i figured it out. version b15 should fix the portal issue

most of the Files dont seem to function when i load up the mod i kept getting a bunch of compile errors and a verify error. pretty much all of the new content except the weapons added dont seem to wanna function

yeah NTT doesnt work without it rn for some reason

Potential bug (multiplayer)-

cursed crystal caves boss fight lags alot. Unsure if internet connection, but 4/4 times begins lagging a few minutes into boss fight, and before and after fights lag is non-existant.

Have not tested in single player

Are the hostile horrors the dog guardians spawn upon death supposed to fire a beam?

Mods: loaded: allskills, bossbar, vineskill, weapon mutations and passives as mutations

Why this happens

I found a bug where lil hunter spawned after the portal so I could leave without even fighting him. I am using update 9927 and have the buffs mod and skills mod enabled.

Also this might be fixed, I haven't checked. In a previous update I couldn't leave Y.V's mansion because the portal didn't spawn. I was playing online and I don't remember what mods I had. I do remember I had 9921.

A thing I'm noticing is that the Hyper Crystal will spawn more Hyper Crystals upon being defeated.

I defeated all of them without noticing as Y.V once, and I got the Level Ultra immediately afterwards. It also displays an error message, I'll probably try & get a screencap of it if I remember to do so next time I'm on that particular level.

Some enemies still delete rads under some conditions. Maggots delete rads when charging and rats sometimes delete rads when they become green rats.

Also some enemies can attack during the boss cut scene: Maggots can charge, bandits can shoot multiple bullets if they already started before the cut scene, and big bird can shoot rockets. Also are bosses supposed to attack right after their cut scene?

playing with a friend and got an error when the portal spawned in 7-2 that crashed the game. we got to palace twice and both times we got this error.

I'm not sure if you're still updating this mod seeing as it's last update/patch was in January of 2018 but do you have any idea on why I can't play the mod with friends? Every time I load the mod in after we get into the character select screen it lags a bit and everyone gets disconnected from the game. I'm not sure if it's a single player mod, a bug with the mod or if our internet can't handle the mod.

you can try increasing /timeout before loading the mod. the mod usually does hang the game up for a few seconds as it loads

the ntt chat command /timeout *number*
sets the time the game will wait before it gives up and calls the game desynced

The Big Bird boss in 3-3 is glitched? He just hovers indefinitely and never comes down.

the mod is not compatible with 9944 it has varying issues running on all builds above 9921. but 9944 in particular converted the game engine from gms1 to gms2 and broke quite a few things with mods.
that error can happens sometimes entering any custom area (its not actually scrapyard) not just this mod. it is on the list of things to fix for NTT 9945 but yal has been working on other projects. im not sure why the bird is locking on the gms2 builds but i think golden epsilon has an edited version of the mod floating around that can run on 9944. though you would still get the chest errors

Any idea when NTT 9945 will be released ?
As for the birdboss infinite flying softlock, i found a workaround by editing the boss' script and removing its ability to fly altogether. The problem is that the mod is also broken on other areas, such as custom boss intros freezing the game (and needs to be disabled) or the crystal caves level not loading at all, preventing for playing past big dog bossfight.

there has not been any news of ntt 9945 since around 9944. yal (yellowafterlife) seems to work on it for a week or 2 every few months (probably between paid jobs). he seems more invested in getting a stable gms2 version of the base game (with 60fps) than pushing a new stable ntt build. but that requires contacting rami to push steam updates which isnt the easiest thing to my understanding. but i dont really know anything. he posts in and checks the 2021_beta_bugreports channel in the nt discord. you can ask there or tweet him i guess.

I'm playing this mod with one of my custom characters (probably unrelated to the bug) and MasterLuigi's x10 mutations mod (might be the cause, idk) and I got this crash against the cursed hyper crystal. (I am playing on ntt version 9940)

Along with these error messages before I crashed. I checked the code of where the error is, but I don't know why it's checking the shells when it should only check enemies. The other error, I have no idea with.


This mod is probably already forgotten, but still, I have a problem with U.V.Mansion, I have and there the game runs 5 times slower, I used to write it off to an old PC, but last year I updated it and the problem remained.
