Tricky platforming and great simplistic graphics! Really enjoyed this one.
Thanks bro!
No problem, check out my game plz :p
Sure!
Simple, fun, good times; tone down the flashing at the end maybe, since it gave me a headache and I'm not even photosensitive so I worry about epileptics.
Music didn't load for me, which is a shame, but the graphics are solid. The Geiger Counter mechanic in lieu of a health bar is, as others have said, very clever.
Excellent speedrun potential. Good job!
Wow Thanks! Sorry for the music and the flash btw
Nah, the music is probably browser compatibility; this is a known issue with Safari and Unity. Just mind the flashing in the future I guess. :>
I'll keep that in mind for when the jam is over
A simple yet fun game. Well done :)
Thank you :D
Good game though it was a simple platformer with simple mechanics.
Thank you bro
Cool use of theme with the radiation! Really like the Geiger counter element. Fun ending
Thanks!
Dash made the levels too easy and "W" should have been jump. Cool ending tho
Thanks for the suggestions:D
Pretty fun platformer, I feel like this game incorporated the radioactive theme really well with the usage of the geiger counter. Good entry, I enjoyed it.
Thanks bro
Nice platformer with good difficulty progression.
The geiger counter mechanic is nice.
If you ever want to add a sound effect this is how I did it:
https://github.com/Paspartout/radiorob/blob/e1f3505e3eef3417a908b9b8b19587bef98c...
Each frame in you decide randomly with the probability as the amount of radioactivity to play a tick sound. Was really easy to implement. Should be easy to do in unity as well.
Thanks for the feedback!
I just saw your code and I will see how I can implement something similar in C#
The movement felt awesome! I loved the simplistic art style, and the music was relaxing. The game when I opened it looked like "Thomas Was Alone". The player block felt squishy, and fun. The intro/tutorial was awesome. And like b3agz said " Has a good difficulty curve about it". The game was just awesome. Their are two very minor things I did not like about your game: (1) The transitions between scenes were not that nice it felt very jerky (Maybe have like a scene wipe or something) (2) I figured out that I could hit space and wall slide long before the tutorial told me I could. These two things are very minor and just my opinion. Overall strong entry, fantastic job, and keep it up!
EDIT: The game was very one-bitish.
You can use all the mechanics before the tutorial tells you that you could, but the tutorial is there to emphasize when you need to use them.
And I did not like the transitions, but time was stronger than me.
Thanks for the feedback.
I know I was just thinking of Mark Browns (Game Makers Toolkit) video about not having to baby the player in the tutorial. I understand that time is our "enemy". It is all of our "enemy". I did not finish even close to what I wanted to finish in my game due to time.
EDIT: Awesome job again!
Thanks bro!
Nice platformer. Has a good difficulty curve about it. Well done!
Thanks!
Really nice platformer! Great mechanic with the geiger counter.
Thanks!
Hard platformer! I had a blast trying to land myself on a ledge while watching the geiger counter. Great game!
Thank you so much!
