Was not really sure what I was supposed to do or how to do it.  The style and music made for a nice peaceful atmosphere, but it would have been helpful for some explanation as to how the buildings worked.

dont mind the slower pace of this one, and music is a nice choice.
just was a bit confusing about how faith/believers worked overall , but it was enjoyable still :)

Nice and somewhat relaxing game.

Around 300 ish seconds time left before end of the world the game screen went black for some reason :(

Developer

Sorry to hear that. There's a bug that causes the player position to NaN in which case nothing gets rendered anymore. I'll try to fix it post-jam.

Thanks for playing!

Very interesting concept. Took me a while to figure out what I was supposed to do and how to keep believers. A short explanation of what the town hall does would have been helpful. I think, it needs a bit more variety to keep it from getting boring too fast and feel like a chore, though.

Very nice game, would love to see a version with more buildings and believers. But I'm still a bit confused on how it ties in with the theme. Otherwise, Great Game! :)

Developer

Yeah, and my answer was to the question above was not helpful.

How it actually ties: Gather believers and use them, or they will use their believe and wander off.

Thank you for your reply!

Developer

Sorry for stupidly answering the questionnaire, I was dead tired.

Blown away by this game, I love the serenity of it and its "try it and find out" nature. Very smart take on the jam theme.

Would maybe make more buildings or have the villagers be somewhat different in their behavior.

Great job on this game, played it twice and had a blast. Thank you for your contribution :)

Developer

Thank you very much! My original plan was quite different, but time constraints required me to change the game-play.

I liked the serene feeling. But I agree, it actually needs a lot more content, even for a jam game.

Good concept. The gameplay was way too slow and no option to speed it up.

Developer

It could need a bit of a speed-up. I had to pivot the design due to time constraints and aimed for a serene, chill game.

Its not enough content in there to achieve that though.

Really unique concept on the god game imo! The movement of the believers is a bit slow and could do with some more tweaking but love the concept and can't wait to see what else you make in the future!

Developer

They should be a bit faster. On the other hand, the lumberjacks should be a bit slower in hacking down trees.

Thanks!

I loved being a god! I got a tad confused between faith vs. believers but I got the gist. My believers had a short memory span so I got 13 buckets :')

If you continue building on this in the future, little churches/shrines could be interesting. Those could be one way to keep believers believing for longer when you leave them to convert more.

Developer

I had planned to add temples where the player could charge up to keep believers on their task around it.

They really have a short memory span :D

Nice little concept, did not understand what faith in building cost meant, guess it was a resource that was not implemented?
Nice and chill game, good job.
Can easily see this being expanded.
I got 29 buckets - while my partner got 16!

Developer(+1)

Ah sorry. It was a bit unclear, the buildings actually require some cost in "faith/believe". Each believer that works on a building adds 1 faith/second. So its implemented, but kind of obfuscated.

Good job on the 29 buckets!

Submitted(+1)

I gathered 21 (buckets?) of water.

I just flew away for a second and my slaves no longer believe in me :D

Developer

They got a severe case of instant amnesia. ALL of them :D
