Love it! The rush, the fun, and the "Chop Chop"!

Wow, really unique idea to blend an Overcooked type of game with a survivor/rogue-like one. Surprisingly it fits very well and adds some depth to the gameplay. The mechanics are really smooth and seem very well implemented. The graphics feel very polished too and the mood of the game is very engaging. As another comment pointed out tho, I would reduce greatly the enemies' hitboxes, they are quite big now and sometimes cause some issues hitting you too much. Apart from that you got a really cool game, never seen that combination.

Keep it up and good luck, you deserve a lot! <33333

cute little game i really enjoyed playing It :D

The first stage was a bit difficult for me because I kept missing the counters, wasn't precise enough in my movement and I wished it was a grid-based movement, but then I understood why the movement was the way it was. But the tomatos killed me anyways.  I don't usually play games like that. So I probably didn't see much of the game. I liked the way the tutorial is done. Very clear and easy to follow. The twist is funny:)

The game looks nice and well put together. I wish it would be a bit easier to play. Maybe a pro-chopper would manage, but I failed three times on the second level because I couldn’t understand how to fulfill the orders from the chef, and the time was running out quickly.

Developer

In the second level, after the first 3 orders you are unable to complete the others (the vegetables order you). It's a scripted failure that brings you to the other level type but shouldn't make you lose any health or lose the game.

Thanks for playing!

Only about chopping! I liked the twisted nature of this salad-making game. interesting concept with some action-packed design. I was not able to buy any of the black market equipment I needed. like the PistolChopper for the first encounter, so I was on my own with my knife,  Felt tense  Quite interesting and fun!

I un-thankfully am not the best SaladMaker, so I miserably failed to many of my customers' dismay!  But I at least,  gave them a chopped-down tomato to their joy.  :)

Awesome game!

As other have mentioned before. The twist is just awesome. Good job not showing any screenshot of that section :D.

Liked:
- Concept
- Controls
- Nice tutorial
- Sound

What could be improved:
- Reload button instead of reload page
- Skip tutorial button
- Size of the hitbox of the enemies. I my opinion could be greatly reduced. As the player I want to make the tight turns and twist in between enemies. Right now this doesn't work.
- Knockback: I don't like the knockback. Knockback is supposed to get you away from the enemy that way he can't hit you again and you can reposition. But here most of the time when I got hit it was because I wanted to dodge the enemy. Then the knockback would hit me back in the direction I came from. Problem is in that direction was the line of enemies I was trying to escape from in the first place :D. This way it often resulted in me getting knocked around a lot and taking multiple hits. To fix this I would get rid of the knockback. I would be interested to hear your and others opinion on this.

Great job! Nice game and keep "cutting" those vegetables

Nice game - great twist too :) I like the way you get the player thinking, 'yeah, I know what this game is ' then boom... surprise! :)

Great job!

Thinking this was an overcooked clone and then realizing it was so much more was a nice surprise!
I will say though, it's a shame I need to reload the page to restart, would be nice to have an option at the game over screen.

I totally agree about the restart. It's something I've included in games in the past but I didn't have the time to add it for this one. There is a bug somewhere that was causing performance issues the longer the game runs that I couldn't track down and allowing you to restart really impacted performance over time.

The controls were a little wonky, especially the way the character rotated, but the twist was actually really funny and I ended up playing it for a few good rounds.

Omg I love this concept hahaha. Couldn’t figure out how to fulfill the second type of order.. which just lead to discovering the twist and the awesome music section!

Glad you liked it :)

WOW, what an amazing idea and execution. From the start, everything was loud and clear about what to do, and controls were easy to grasp. It is challenging and fun at the same time. I love that at first it plays out like a cooking sim, and was wondering how the theme is relevant here, but then I was like "Oh, you can cut veggies with guns, that's cool and unique" and then I was "Wow, these veggies also want a part of me!". Spectacular plot twist. Visuals, music, and sounds are a great choice here! One of my favourite entries 10/10
