I love the cat sprite with the catching animation, it's very cute :)

The movement system I made from scratch

I hate these wasps! in the good sense. I have been incredibly close to finishing it, but the wasps become too fast at some point for me. And i can't seem to escape them. I liked i,t quite a nice platforming butterfly catcher , game! Straight to the task and works!
Charming game with a lot of character.
I enjoyed playing it and completed all 3 levels - however, on the last level there was a section where you get covered in bees and you can't seem to be able to get back up to the top, so it took several attempts to do that.
Cool game - great job!
Cool game! I'd just criticize that it feels kind of weird how you can barely controll the cat when he's in the air.
I enjoyed this little simple game, all 3 levels were pretty fun, and the objective was clear and simple.
However, level 3 is a nightmare since you can't jump back up so if you've missed a butterfly you'll have to die to respawn or restart, so it made the game a bit annoying. would have loved to see more levels and maybe have the cameras zoom in less it was hard to tell where I was jumping so 50% of the time I would just fall into the void xD
Don't get me wrong this is a really fun game, I wanted to keep playing but sadly only 3 levels I would assume lack of time, but you've done good, it has a settings menu, and a main menu and it works.
the downloadable / exe had this bug where all the buttons/starter menu would be broken but the WebGL / HTML version works just fine. overall a great game, good job!
Hi, I just finished checking out your game. I really like the cat's sprite and animations :3333
I also liked the walljump a lot, I know how hard it is to implement a movement system from scratch, as one time I tried to recreate Hollow Knight's one and it was really difficult. Also, one little trick, in order to make the player not stick that much to the walls when jumping towards them, you can try to apply a physics material to the collider and adjust it's friction, just make sure is 2D in this case.
Really good job and good luck with it, keep it up! <33333
It was pretty short but I did have a lot of fun. Jumping can make you achieve near light speed, watch out for that!
The comfortable music and the Sprite that you drew yourself are cute. The next platform after the bee came out on the first stage didn't seem far away caused me to wander a bit.
Cute game with a bit of a wonky physics. There is a huge difficulty spike between levels 2 and 3. Overall ice idea, well done! :)
Really cute game. The movement was a bit too floaty in my opinion. Good job on the jam
it was kinda nice platformer game, the spritesheets were good, good job brother!
I really think that you should print t-shirts with Leo the cat on them. The character is amazing, he reminds me of Pepe the frog, who means "HOPE". I have no idea why Leo hunts the butterflies (maybe he is an well-known entomologist, PhD), but he really is charismatic.
One interesting thing that you could improve on usability has to do with which keys you assign to which action. Think that if two actions could be done at once, but they are performed with keys that are pressed by the same finger, that will create a conflict. This was my case with moving tight (D) and using the net (E). You may use the net for a button that is presses with the right hand (for example J), leaving the player the choice to jump (Space bar) with the thumb he prefers.
Nice! I forgot to get one of the butterflies and got stuck at the end but it was a nice platformer. :)
