  • Fucking hilarious
  • Drop kicking humans into an explosion is great
  • Colliding with objects seems to turn you around unintentionally

Video feedback:

TL:DW. I started getting motion sickness. Perhaps it was the camera or limited Field of View.

Also didn't realise you were LTDG. Welcome to aggydaggy :-)

The voiced tutorial is a very good thing. Although I think it goes too fast. I didn't have the time to try out things voice was talking about. Maybe have an info graphic displaying all the keys after voice is done talking, when the player can freely try out the controls.

In forest map some obstacles had breakable box texture. This is very confusing.

In general I don't think any obstacle should look even similar to any type of the box, crate or whatever.

Also some obstacles are very short and it  feels like I should be able to jump over/on them, but I can't. Example table in office.

Office layout is annoying and confusing. There were multiple times when I ran into dead ends, and fish was behind the wall.

There should be more people to drop kick. If you drop kick the guy, and you're unlucky you might not stumble upon the next one leaving you without any more turbo for the rest of the round. And focusing on searching them doesn't feel right when under a time pressure.

Collecting fish or points didn't feel engaging to me at all. Most fun I had when time was running out and I desperately tried to find remaining boxes to prolong my time.

As in I was collecting the fish, because I guess this is what I was tasked with, but not running out of time felt like a more real goal.

I played the OG version - no camera issues.

No ingame menu (I suppose you just haven't go around to it yet).

Are those... things, in the background supposed to look like this? Looks glitched, even considering the rest of the tutorial graphics.

Pressed some button and got infinite turbo, guessing its some debug thing.

The running animation does not loop well.

Why only 4 settings for audio? Setting to zero does not mute sound, restarting the game resets audio to full until you open the settings again. However starting the game with music on 0 does mute it, sound effects still play though.

Remapping keys is awkward, would prefer to see what keys do what and be able to change one at a time.

Is the full version supposed to only be about getting score? Because I feel like its not enough, it needs SOMETHING else. Not sure what exactly...

I might not have played enough to say this with certainty but it felt like the most optimal way to play was to hold down turbo all the time and do a flip once its needed while barely turning and just jumping into walls to turn so you don't lose momentum. Which is a pretty awkward way to play but maybe its not actually fast.

Developer

Yeah, I realised far too late that the volume settings don't seem to properly set the volume. Added to the list. As is the rest of your observations! Thank you!

Finally: cycle-less bear!

Fun game for what it lasted.
I played it with a controlled because I assumed it would be somewhat like deadengine, but not having a dedicated accelerator button made "steering" the bear kinda clunky.

Also you can keep doing flips on the finished screen to improve your high score.

  • Tutorial was too fast, I wasn't able to pickup on everything, as I was trying out things and looking at other parts of the screen while it kept rambling on. No idea how to drop kick. Fun writing though.
    • Looking back at the video, the keys should be in the center of the screen.
  • Actions/controls feel too similar.
    • "Should I roll? Should I jump roll? Oh no, I rolled the wrong way..."
    • "Can I jump roll over an obstacle? Or does it have to be a regular jump? Nah, don't want to try in case I lose momentum."
  • having to turn 180° is actually unfun, killing the little momentum I had
  • no idea how bad my score actually was, so no clue what I should strive for
  • I like the silliness and the coherence of the style including SFXs. The sprint animation is hilarious.

    No commentary video

That's all I can think of right now.
