Great idea! I think the white spawn point in the middle makes it a bit too hard to see if there is a ship in it.
A very interesting and original idea, also presented very well. Good Job!
Hey Thank you so much for checking out my game! Glad you liked it! : )
Hey there I played the game and here are my thoughts:
- Right at the start I noticed you are the first game I played in the jam so far to have some BG music at the start and it really sets the mood so good choice there.
- The trail effects are also a great touch; I didn't start playing for maybe 30 seconds because I was just messing around with the effect and getting a feel for it.
- I was confused my first playthrough because I wasn't sure of the objective. I read the page instructions and got the idea but I would recommend in-game direction of some kind.
- I also noticed the a.i seems to switch between a stationary and moving modes, and a lot of the time when a new ship spawned in the center, you would hear it instantiate ( great sfx btw ) but it would be in still mode so you have to remember to drag it out manually, maybe have the ships moving by default when created so they don't stack up at the start, just feels a bit unfair.
Overall a really strong entry for the jam, congrats!
Hey Thanks for checking out my game! Thank you also for your feedback! If I come back to this at a later point I'll keep them in mind when I'm changing the game a bit to make it a more full game. Thanks again for playing my game ! : )
I think the opening, music, and overall presentation were nice. I think it fits your goal of a "relaxing, stressful" type game. I think it'd be cool if there was some kind of timer and "levels" where you get gradually introduced to different types of UFOs,
Hey thanks for checking out my game! If I ever come back to this I'll keep in mind your suggestion to put into making it a more full game : )
An interesting, original idea!
Nice graphics and sfx. Good job!
Hey thank you for playing my game! I'm glad that you liked the idea and graphics and the SFX : )
This was a cool idea! Im just sitting here spamming my mouse button trying to get all my ships in a line. The difficulty curve ramps nicely and the sound effects were satisfying. Each ship type having a different behavior also made for interesting play as you try to prioritize how you isolate the ships. Great game!
Hey thank you for playing my game, I'm glad you liked it! Stressful indeed : )
Fun little game! I like how hectic it gets. It took me a bit to realize that the green ones can spawn inside the white spawn zone so you have to drag them out manually. And I wish that when you lose, the explosions start with the ships that caused the failure. Great interpretation of the theme.
Hey thank you so much for playing my game! I'll keep that suggestion in mind and see if I can make that happen. Glad you liked the game! : )
Looks and feels amazing! Stressful indeed. Great job!
Hey thank you so much for playing my game, I'm glad you liked it! Glad it was indeed stressful : )
Great game! The difficulty curve definitely ramps up as the game goes on. I like that the grabbable area also serves as a health indication on the space ships. It helps he player prioritize the space ships low on health. Nice Job!
Hey thanks for playing my game, I'm glad you liked it! The grabbable area is actually the sensitive area range to watch out for among the ships but made it so you can grab it also : )
Well done stressful relaxing fits perfect! And f the black one, I hate it ^^. Well done, will try and beat my Highscore now :)
Hey thanks for playing my game! I'm glad you liked it. Definitely made the black ship hard to see on purpose : )
