Track description | Creative process
An upbeat track, it has gone through different iterations, from very folky to more standard instruments except for congas. Also, it loops back to itself perfectly!
DAW: FL Studio
VSTs:
DPinga Congas by Pulpo Audio
Guitar and Bass: Sakura (Fruity Loops Built-In VST)
Drops by Venus Theory

Okay I might get bullied for this but this does fit AC in my opinion. Like a specific characters theme. Although this isn't a sunny theme I enjoyed this quite ALOT.

I think it sounds a bit too mysterious to fit the vibe perfectly, but I enjoyed the piece as a whole :) great work!

Interesting piece, achieving some vibrant yet mysterious undertones with a barebones instrumentation. Maybe not suitable for the Animal Crossing area we were targeting, but surely a great ambient piece on its own for other scenarios. It somehow gave me "Stranger Things meets Arabian Nights" vibes. A lot of potential here.

I envision this track as something desert themed played in a museum or a special mysterious building, or even in a character room! I like how it stays true to the animal crossing style, while also giving a different vibe. This was such a fun track to listen to, great work!!

The half-tones melody on this gives it TRUE personality, this isn't standard tonality but at the same time evokes maybe native cultures on the island instead of commercialized modern tropes about islands.  Incredible complex rhythms. Really enjoyed this submission, way to go! Credibility takes one star off for being more serious but I'd rather play -that- game (whatever it would be) that this fits, than the one in the assignment, if I had a choice.

Very interesting approach, i don't think it works on i Sunny island though but rather i'm envisionning a mysterious cave in a desert ! It's still a nice piece :)

Even if I like the piece for itself I really don't see this in Animal Crossing or to illustrate a sunny island. It matches more a mysterious pyramid for an RPG or a puzzle game. Also I think it would benefit from having an extra instrument here and there adding a layer of harmony or conterpoint.

Cobras are rising up from the beach sand and now they oscillate hypnotically. Probably they took a wrong turn at Giza, and now they're  arguing with each other hissing.

After first half of the track darkness starts coming to the world) I definately see metal guitars and heavy drums there))
Overall interesting approach)

You have given this piece a very original approach, I like it. Good job!

Nice take on this! Feels like the player will discover all sorts of cool things by the beach, the bass and congos feels very iconic nintendo here!

This is a perfect loopable background music, love the Phrygian mode, could work on a bunch of places or occasions. good job!
