Oh the island vacation vibes in this track are spot on, and so catchy too! I agree with the others on feedback of the guitar and volume balancing, but still, beautiful work!

Thank you for your comment KandoMusic :)

Strong entry!! I love your writing, it nails the vibe so well. Great sax moment, and the background elements are awesome here. I would agree with others on the dynamics, but I do really like the volume balancing, and the composition comes well without those edits imo! Definitely fits the theme :)

Thank you 😊

Nice one! As it was said, I like the chord progression of the midi guitar, it feels really video-gamish (specially AC), but a bit of variation in the dynamics, velocity, panning, way of playing (strumming VS picking) could go a long way to make it sound more alive - maybe a tad of reverb as well.

Nice vibe you've got going though, thanks for sharing !

Thanks you so much for your comment, having it said multiple times by different people will definitely stick in my microscopic brain for the next jam for sure ! 😁

Sweet tune! As other said, guitar strumming sound a bit too fakey and "in your face", loud and crisp. A tiny bit of reverb and more centered panning could have helped a lot.

Ditto with that shaker, do you like that a dude comes  near to your ear, and starts shaking furiously?

Developer(+1)

Bro it depends what he is shaking furiously near my ears 🤣 !

JK, duly noted, thank you so much for your input 😁

I really really like the vibe. Hits that "sunny resort area" just right :)

I love the horn that comes in for the second half of the track! They feel so natural and really enhance that summer vacation vibe :)

You've done well with that MIDI guitar. My advice for next time you use it would be to play with the velocities a bit more so it sounds less copy/paste, adds dynamic to the strumming, and helps it 'live' in the mix. I'd love to have heard some guitar plucking too to add variation.

You've done a wonderful job of matching the setting, and the mix is good

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the kind words and advice ! Will definetly work more on the velocities and adding more variation next time :)

Very nice composition! Needs some tweeks to eq and volume fixes, but overall great submission =)

Developer

Thank you very much for your input. :) Yes i agree, still having issues with the mixing and mastering part of it haha

Just to be clear, the track have to last between 1 and 3 minutes, you didn't need to add silence at the end of it to make it reach 3 minutes.

Developer

Yeah i had an issue with my export and deadline was closing in dangerously haha. Thank you for the clarification though :)
