Track description | Creative process
This work is a reimagining of (and inspired by) Animal Crossing New Horizons music, specifically a beach/island area. I'm not that happy with this piece, but the guitar chords have been floating around my head for far too long and they need to be out there :) This is also my first time recording myself playing guitar for a composition.

I composed in Ableton Live 10, and used recorded guitar, instrument samples, and field recordings of my local beach.

Love the use of the waves as a background element. The intro might be touch too long, but I like the relaxed, yet bouncy feel of this track. Very well composed and the mix is tight. Nice job!

Loving the instruments, it reminds me a lot of the Two Point management games with the glass mallet sound. All the sounds work really well together too.

Nice and calm piece, it fits the wholesome mood of Animal Crossing. Too bad for the volume of the tambourine, I loved the marimba and the guitar

The background sound had me by surprise, very clever. "why is this so quiet OH an actual beach sound with the -sea- going on!" The only drawback was it didn't move around much but again it's not -supposed- to! This jam was about staying calm and you nailed it. Nice work.

Cheers for the guitar recording, the chord progression, melody and rythms work very well together. Would have loved hearing, a bit more variation and isntruments. But it already is very nice ! Good job :)

Crap wait, removed my old feedback, I had the wrong link open when listing, sorry xD! This is such a cute bossa vibe, honestly this feels like one of the most fitting theme entries. The playfulness between the mallet and the guitar rhyth is so nice. I hear a vibra-something in the back, which I really like. Very high quality mix too, amazing work!

Regarding the theme, so far, this is my favourite track. It truely truely feels at home with the game and the beach area, its smooth calm happy visual and colourful, never too much, catchy - congratulations.

Your mix is nicely balanced and levelled, I've got nothing to say except maybe some more love for the low ends, a bassy instrument or so, that feels like an empty space that could be filled.

Compared to some other tracks, I haven't got much to say, because it really truly feels like this song fits the theme WELL. It's exactly what I had in mind when I pictured the theme's vibe. Bravo !
