What a great game! Innovative puzzler, mechanics that work together in a nice way and never overwhelm the player; I enjoyed it throughout.

Haha thanks! Yes, the game was inspired by vague memories of those kinds of games which sadly aren't even playable any more. If you know of any that are still around I'd love to play them

dougmas heard you and helped out!

I spoke to Jason and he said to just give me 5 stars on every category, the judges will know what that means

Psst, stick around on easy mode for an Easter egg that I don't think anyone has found yet

Love it! I don't know why I was so driven to beat that duck. Incredible ending. Only downside imo is the air level, was the weakest of the 3 to me - the tornadoes seemed too random (some runs barely saw any, some I saw lots), and there isn't a good sense of depth. Still one of the best things from the jam I've seen so far!

Really impressive work. These kinds of games are rarely a success in jams because there are so many different aspects to get right, and content/levels to make. But you pulled it off! I do think that the mechanics could use some tweaking. Increasing player speed and increasing gravity would make the character feel much better to play - but still the character controller is impressive. The stick throwing mechanic is awesome. In my opinion, the mode switching isn't that interesting a concept to me, I've seen similar stuff before. Still, it's executed fantastically.

My favourite entry so far. Really like the style, fun simple original mechanic with great level design.

Great art and music, and fun gameplay. I think the tutorial could use some work as I didn't fully understand the mechanics. I also don't think it fits the theme very closely. Still, really great work.

A good start! Lots of potential if you were to continue working on it.

Really fun honestly. Presentation could definitely be better, as could the explanation of the mechanics. But it felt really fun to play and was very unique. Nice stuff

Loved the eating animation omg. Given how fun the controls are, I would have liked to see more levels to make the most of them. Running through the boxes as the big komodo was awesome. It's also a shame we didn't get to see more modes, but this was an awesome start.

Really cool idea. I must admit I found it very very hard. Cool concept though.

Really like the graphics and I like the chair mechanic! Agree with others,  I would have really appreciated some sound, but still nice work

The character feels good to run and jump with :) Would have liked to see more modes that change up the gameplay further

Really cool mechanic! I was confused as to the purpose of top-down until i realised it makes it easier to shoot stuff. Really like the visuals too. Changing modes to discover the guy riding on the rocket was awesome. Also, I have no idea how you implemented this, since the two modes are so different but seamless. Can't have been easy. V cool stuff.

Really cool. So much style, the audio and visuals really make everything feel together even though it changes so much between modes. Wish you could tap space to make the text fully display so you can go through it a bit quicker, but that's my only criticism.

Has anyone ever made a playable version of a youtube video before? I guess it's not that different to a movie tie-in game, but something about this felt really unique and adds up to more than the funny idea that I thought it was. Because it's from real life, the dialogue actually ends up being much better than so many games. I enjoyed this so much. 5 stars from crabpalace

Really fun! Absolute love the visuals

Really unique idea for a game, well done!

Cool game! Really hard though haha. I think I would have preferred a keyboard control scheme to make it easier. Would be fun to see this developed further

I enjoyed this. I would have liked to see it developed a bit more but it's a fun, original concept. Loved the sketches of Bigfoot!

I just can't believe I played two games where you play as Bigfoot and need to hide in a row. What a coincidence?! Check out Hiding Bigfoot if you haven't already :)

Fun! Very original idea. I couldn't go to sleep on day 2 for some reason, but otherwise really enjoyed it. The path bug made me realise I have ZERO idea how this game was made lol (I'm a 2D gamemaker guy atm)

Fun! Cool concept. It's like a point and click adventure but with some tension as the boredom increases! Can't believe having a friend became boring so quickly

Fun concept! I laughed at "you burned to death in the water" haha. The lack of checkpoints meant I didn't finish the game as I got a bit frustrated, but I enjoyed what I played! Would like to see it developed more :)

Really fun! Is this a totally original mechanic? Obviously it's a play on tower defence but I don't recall playing something quite like this before. Level 4 stumped me, but I skipped and played to the end of the game, really enjoyed it.

It would be interesting to develop the idea and add more mechanics - bouncy roads that let you jump over towers, towers with different ranges and abilities... How about a tower that shoots bouncy bullets that knock you to different squares on the map? Maybe there could be ways for the ghosts to destroy the towers? So much potential!

I would also love an undo button or something like that to stop having to reset!

Thanks so much! I watched a friend of mine try out the game and they struggled a bit with the wall jump too - definitely needs a little tweaking. I think it works basically the same as meat boy, but maybe that's not right for this type of game.  Let me know if you have any ideas :)

Yep, music's all me! One of my favourite tracks that I made a couple years ago, dropped it in right at the end haha. Unfortunately, there's no way of knowing which is Crisp and which is Philip, they won't answer my emails.
