I love the way you use the settings to change what things do and solve puzzles.
The core mechanic here is a really cool idea, and the game as a whole was super charming! The crow was probably my favorite part, also really got a kick out of what hard mode was. Great work!
Cool idea for mode theme! Took me a second to understand how the game worked, but was fun after that. Also grappling hook feels satisfying to whizz around with :]
The art was super fun, and cool take on the 'Mode's! I could see this being the base for a much larger RPG.
I love coming across underrated games like this! There's a ton of personality and I thought you implemented the theme in a very creative way. The art, general level-design, and mechanics are well thought out and the dialog is funny. Love the fun gags and details littered through the world. Unfortunately, I think I ran into that bug at the end, but aside from that mostly everything worked. I will say I was able to tap to the max bar which should count for something, and I have a phobia of eggs ;) Nice job on this game!
wowowow. I was stumped at first. no explanation. had to read a comment that lightly suggested what to do. such a creative take on the theme!!!! well done!!! everything was superb. the graphics, audio, the grappling, even the little interactions.
This is really good! It took a bit to "get" the game, but once you do, it's quite enjoyable. It had really fun writing too, though I did run into the dialogue bug toward the end. Also that is the wildest kitchen I've ever seen, but totally worth bringing the cherry red cherry.
I do feel a tad guilty for accidentally shooting the frog with the grappling hook (he was off-screen, I swear!)
Had to read the comments to figure out how to get past the first section. Enjoyable music, and the grappling hook is very fun to use. I think I would have enjoyed it more if I was eased into the idea of solving the puzzles with the settings menu more gradually.
I really like the tongue and cheek approach to the modes in the settings and the graphics and music also really cool (Music gave me Pokemon / Zelda vibes)
I haven't understood what the game was asking of me; I haven't been able to make any progress.
the settings made me lol out loud
Extremely creative use of the theme. I really like the Earthbound/Undertale style of having a cute presentation overlaying discreetly darker and creepy moments. The use of difficulty and accessibility options for problem solving really threw me for a loop until I really played around with the settings.
I do wish that there was a downloadable executable though, since it seemed to lag pretty hard on my laptop's connection, which caused me to walk into walls for several seconds repeatedly due to delayed inputs. Apart from that though, it's a cool concept and I like the tone of the writing!
This is a really creative interpretation of the theme. I love the light puzzle elements of the setting manipulation. It took me a while to realize how to console the granddaughter.
Very cute pixel game, I recommend playing it! I got to the end and it froze sadly, but was having fun until then. I RIZZED up the grandma.
