We interpreted mode as a pun "mowed" and incorporated different modes of our main character.

Really fun game with a very satisfying feel! My only problem was that I didn't understand why I was game over a lot of the time. I'm guessing that a grass goon spawned right on top of me or something? Or does the game end at a specific timestamp?

SWITCH/RUNNERMost likely a grass goon spawned on top of you. If we had more time it'd probably be best to signal a warning right before a goon spawns, but as it is now as soon as a patch of grass reaches its max height it instantly becomes a grass goon. I'm not sure how noticeable it is, but we also have it so that the grass gets darker as it gets taller. I'm glad you enjoyed the game; hopefully this wasn't too frustrating!
Another mower game! This was a lot of fun. The aesthetic is really nice, I really like the soft light and the grass growing is great. Had a good time cleaning up the yard to the best of my ability. Got about 3.5k in points. Maybe that's bad, I dunno lol. Grass Goons are a cute name, and I had a great time. Nice job.

MowedI like how the grass grows, pretty smooth. The control of the mower was also pretty nice. I think it would have been nice if collecting flowers extended big mode time, otherwise I would collect them and essentially lose them for when I went back to normal size and be surrounded by goons. I also would have liked a quit button to exit the game, I did not see one available.

Trinity ModeThank you for your feedback! I wanted saving flowers while in big mode to be a sort of strategy so that when you lose big mode you have flowers readily available to collect if you avoided them. But someone else has given similar concern to yours, so I think you are right that it would be more intuitive to prolong big mode when collecting flowers. And sorry about no exit button, that was a bit of an oversight lol, but as a workaround you should be able to press F11 to go into windowed mode and then exit the game from there.
Nice little game with enjoyable mowing action. Could have used some ambiance sounds or music in my opinion. Good job!

Biggie BlasterGreat job! This is definitely one of those "one more run" games that really sucks me in. The controls and goal of the game were really intuitive and I had a lot of fun playing. My one piece of feedback would be to slow the rate those big angry grass blades spawn, I feel like once they start coming the whole lawn is full of them really fast.
