How does your game represent "Power"?
It is a racing game that takes place in the wiring of a circuit. Since circuits have to make closed loops, I thought it would be a nice idea if there were little guys in there racing around and around powering our computers. Also I was listening to Power by Kanye West while I made it and I also drank a Powerade so this game has triple power in it.

Fun concept - this should definitely get fleshed out more in the future. I especially enjoyed racing inside the giant tubes

Developer

thank you dude!! Thanks for playing!

Fun concept, I wish I could fly off the map and explode like an F Zero

Great fun! Love the design of the tracks and level.

The way the camera and vehicle abruptly turns perpendicular to the track facing outwards and the speed going from 100 to 0 when going out of bounds was jarring. Also, when I would exit a tunnel whilst driving on the ceiling of said tunnel the vehicle would be driving upside-down on the track-- perhaps a bug?

Nonetheless, the music is a bop and when I got the hang of driving, it was pretty nice. I also really like the graphics.

Dude, thank you so much!! I really appreciate you playing!! It was a ton of fun to make but also a really big learning experience, I will definitely be squashing some of these bugs in the future

dude I just saw you were the one that did Power Napping!! That game rules!! The premise/gameplay/art all work together so flawlessly, I loved it. Getting greedy with the naps and then hearing the coworkers gasp when they catch you legitimately had me so shocked and embarrassed as if I was the one napping lmao

once i got the hang of the steering it was actually quite fun and i managed to get first place on the second map ^^

Developer

thank you!! I’m glad you enjoyed it, this game was definitely a big learning experience for me but I had a great time doing it

Cool to see the zero gravity style racing. The environment and track were very cool to travel through and look very nice.

It did feel very easy to get stuck on the track though. Nudging the edge of the track often caused by vehicle to immediately make a 90 degree turn and get stuck with the nose against the edge of the track. I also encountered an issue where 80% of the way through my first lap on Silicone Circuit, all of the AI players decided to just leave the track and give me a free first place despite the fact I was crashing the entire race.

Overall, good visuals and an impressive technical work when dealing with game jam deadlines, but could use a bit more optimization and polish to alleviate some bugs.

The track layout and vehicle style reminds me of Wipeout! Really cool tracks and good music to tie it together. Only wish I could go even faster! Great job, this is a cool racing game

Thank you so much!!!

F-zero types are fun! Nice UI design

Developer

Thanks!! Thanks for playing!

I like the premise of this game; it’s like a mix between Tron and the old Wipeout games for the PS1. If you’re interested in updating the game once the jam is over, one suggestion I have would be some difficulty options for the CPU players to make for some challenging races. Otherwise, good job on your first game jam!

Developer

Thanks, that's a great idea! And thanks for playing!!

Neat! Always love an F-Zero-like. Likewise had performance issues with Flux Speedway though.

dang I’m sorry to hear that! Glad you liked it though, this was my brother’s and my first game so it’s been a huge learning experience for sure. Thanks for the feedback!

I love going really fast! The tunnels in Silicone Circuit really sold that for me, and that was a lot of fun. Unfortunately I couldn't load Flux Speedway, it really lagged my computer every time I tried to play it.
