Always a fan of boomerang projectiles, and this game nailed them imo. As others have already said, being able to skip through the intro text at my own speed would've been nice, but it didn't detract from the actual gameplay (which was pretty fun). Very solid submission!

Great concept and nice music/sound effects! I would echo other's notes about the easy time killing enemies and waiting for the next spawn, but it's solid overall!

I liked the game, I just wish it was a bit more challenging. All the enemies would die and then I would have to wait a few seconds for more to spawn. I think if enemies just kept spawning faster it would have been much more engaging.

It's a cool take on the genre. The boomerangs are fun to use and feel really satisfying when you can land a bunch of hits when they return. The music was also really good

Very fun to use the boomerang bullets! I wish enemies spawned quicker to ramp up the excitement and difficulty as you progressed. There looks like there are some issues with the background art displaying as crisp as the player, so I know this could look better with some minor change in the engine, but you were up against the clock like I was so I get that priorities get shifted last minute. Good entry!

Did you do the music? is a very nice theme!!

I feel like some times, you have to wait for the monsters to spawn, and make it a little boring, for example, making two snakes to appear at the same time will give you a great challenge.

I liked the boss to much, I win him with 1 hearth left xD very bullet hell!

The frisbee/boomerang projectiles were great and I loved that I had cover to hide behind.

The pacing felt a little off - sometimes I'd be waiting a long time for new enemies to appear, or for the dialogue to continue. Sometimes the dialogue would continue before I'd read it. This would be a simple fix with spawning new enemies once the previous wave was dead and progressing the dialogue with a mouse click.

I also noticed that some graphics were scaled oddly - you should be able to fix this to turn off antialiasing in future builds, it'll make your art look much crisper.

I was really surprised by the boss fight - I wasn't expecting it at all! It was a great challenge and I managed to survive just with one health left! Really had my palms sweating. Excellent bullet hell gameplay.

I'm a big fan of the bouncing bullets mechanic. I'm always partial to mechanics that leverage the game environment/map in some way, so kudos to you!

The only small letdown was in the boss fight. Since the boss was hard to approach and there were no objects in the middle of the level to bounce bullets off of, I felt like you couldn't really use the bouncing bullets effectively in that fight. Whereas for such climaxes I expected the player would need to use the game mechanics even more than usual.

Cool game but I'd say level 2 is really hard because the ai gets stuck inbetween the boxes in the middle and forces you to take fire inorder to unstuck them.

Fun game! I love the way the main weapon works and the pixel art and music are very good!
