The art reminds me of (last night), it's such a cool art choice I think.
The sounds were great, the music, just amazing and I really like the tabletop RPG storytelling style of it! Really nice surprise in this gamejam!

The game looks visually stunning! Great job!
Really beautiful game! Loved how the neon lights glowed and the depth of field. For some reason after the first long walk the visuals crash then after clicking around they come back but it's nighttime. Then I walk back and get arrested. Wish I knew the story in the middle haha.
I'm not sure what happened there but it might be the cutscenes getting bugged somehow, we did playtest it on 4-5 different devices before uploading it though. Can you tell us your pc specifications ?
Yeah, it's getting to be pretty old actually lol. I watched the playthrough, did not seem like something my comp couldn't handle.

LOVE the Visuals, LOVE the Music.
I just have trouble hearing some of the dialogue - maybe a subtitle would help, but otherwise it is PERFECT

thank you for the review, I'm glad you loved the visuals and the music. The cutscenes were made at the last movement and we didn't have enough time to add in the subtitles, maybe a proper time management will help us with that in our future game jams.

Gosh, I love the visuals. 2.5D is stunning, and you implemented it quite well!
Except for the visuals there wasn't much game to be had, though, and here's why:

This is the sort of feedback that I love, We actually had a few problems with the guy who was supposed to be our artist and started working on the art after 3-4 days in which everyone else ended up having extra burden over their heads, there was going going to be an interaction system which we couldn't polish enough to add in at the last moment, same thing happened with the voices and we were a little too focused on finishing the game on time that we ended up compromising with a lot of different aspects however, now that we have time we will continue working on the story alongside some other functionalities and release a more polished edition of the game. Thank you again for your review, it was my first game jam and I've learnt a lot of things that will help me out in the future so that I won't mess up with the minor details while rushing to finish the game on time.

Woah! I would give the visuals 6 stars if I could. The simple 3D buildings and textures match perfectly with the pixelated sprites. The post processing looks great too! The music also was a really nice fit with the game. And I'm a sucker for voiceovers. I think the walk time could be reduced a little, and I wish the choice was whether or not to take the money in the first place. But the game gave me a great vibe and was a really nice experience. Outstanding!

Oh My Glob. The Lighting and play area look Gorgeous!!!!!!! with a capital G! It took forever to walk place to place, but wow, just wow, you guys did great! THE MUSIC. MY GLOB THE F*****G MUSIC! Maybe make the player faster but ye good game, ok story.
